My name is Bethann Booth,

And I am a double lung transplant recipient,

And I have the gift of breath today.

And I honor my breath like I've never experienced breath before,

And I'm here to invite everyone to take a moment to really feel their breath and accept their breath and be in the moment with their breath.

And so this is just a quick recentering breathing exercise.

To breathe in,

1,

2,

3.

Hold,

1,

2,

3.

And exhale,

1,

2,

3.

And again,

Hold and exhale.

And continue that pattern of inhaling and exhaling,

And as you are doing that,

Feel your belly rise,

Feel your chest expand.

Sip in your breath as it is going into your root and releasing it,

And feeling all of that air circulate.

Continue to breathe in and exhale.

Maybe roll your neck and your head,

Shrug your shoulders,

Feel yourself in alignment.

Perhaps close your eyes and take this time just to breathe.

And with each breath,

I invite you to think about what you are grateful for.

What brought you here today?

What brought you to take time to breathe?

What are you honoring in this moment?

Are you letting go of something painful?

Are you allowing yourself to receive all the goodness that surrounds you?

The beauty,

The light,

The purity,

The clarity,

The wisdom.

We have all that we need to be.

It is right here with us now.

So maybe you are just starting your day.

Maybe you are at midday and taking a nourishing break for yourself,

Your body,

Your mind,

Your spirit.

Maybe you are closing the day with a moment of peace and gratitude and reflection.

No matter where you are throughout your day,

Your breath will always be there to help regulate,

To help ground down,

To help renew,

Refresh,

Restart,

Savor,

Take in,

Inspire.

Taking one more deep,

Deep inhalation through your nose.

Thank you for taking this time with me to honor ourselves and our presence and our purpose.

I'll see you soon.
