Grounding Meditation.
You begin this meditation by sitting in a comfortable yet firm position.
Maybe sitting in a chair or on the floor.
Taking a moment to get centered,
We bring all awareness and attention to the present moment.
We let go of invasive thoughts,
Worries,
And distractions.
In this moment,
All is well,
And you are exactly where you need to be.
Commit to this moment and to this practice by fully showing up as you are.
Taking in a deep cleansing breath through the nose and holding at the top,
Gently release the air through your mouth.
We physically connect and tune in to the space around us.
Taking in another deep breath through the nose,
Letting the belly rise,
And gently letting your breath out through your mouth.
We begin to relax.
And repeating once more with a deep inhalation through the nose,
Feeling your belly rise,
And then releasing the breath through your mouth.
We invite the body to integrate with the surface beneath us,
Whether it be a chair or the floor.
We feel our sits bones or our feet becoming one with the ground and serving as a strong foundation.
We are firmly rooted.
We become unshakable and physically and spiritually confident.
We begin to trust and rely on this inner knowing.
No matter the time of day,
The following affirmations can bring you back to the present whereby we are fully aware,
Capable,
And grounded.
I am calm in nature.
I trust in my physical abilities to help regulate my body.
I am self-aware and know what I need to be centered.
I rely on my inner voice.
I am surrounded by loving and supportive energy.
I am being guided.
I am enough.
I am more than enough.
I am grounded in nature.
Taking a moment to absorb and process the present.
We take a deep breath in and release.
And as you carry on with your day,
Remember these affirmations.
You are grounded.
