Take a slow breath in through your nose,
Hold it for a second,
And let it go gently through your mouth,
Again,
Inhale and exhale,
You don't need to calm your mind,
That is not probably the goal,
Your mind is loud because your life is loud,
Makes sense.
Right now,
We are just creating a small space between you and all of that noise,
Notice your breath,
Don't control it now,
Just watch it,
Notice your body,
Your shoulders,
Are they tight,
Drop them slightly,
Your jaw,
Is it cleansed,
Unclench it,
Meanwhile the thoughts will keep coming,
What about tomorrow,
What if I fail,
Why am I like this,
Why only me,
Let them come,
But don't follow them,
Imagine you are sitting on the side of a road and your thoughts are just traffic,
Cars passing by,
Some are fast,
Some are loud,
Some are annoying,
But you are not in the traffic anymore,
You are just watching it,
And for the first time in a while,
You don't have to react to every single thing,
If it still feels heavy,
Good,
You are not doing this to escape the weight,
You are learning how to sit with it,
Without it crushing you,
Now take another deep breath in through your nose,
Hold it for a while,
And slowly exhale out through your mouth,
And right now in this exact moment,
Nothing is chasing you,
Nothing needs to be solved,
You are allowed to just exit,
Stay here for a few more breaths,
And when you are ready,
Slowly bring your awareness back,
Not as someone who has everything figured out,
But as someone who didn't run away,
And that is the real strength.
