This bedtime meditation begins as we settle into rest together, while a gentle story unfolds in the quiet of the night. The slow rhythm of words and pauses naturally helps the brain shift into calmer, sleep-ready waves, allowing effort and alertness to dissolve. You don’t need to listen or understand — the mind knows how to drift when it feels safe to soften and let go. As the story comes to rest, subtle soundscapes continue through the night, supporting the nervous system while energy gently settles and realigns. Held in Divine Love and quiet presence, you are invited to surrender completely and sleep deeply until morning.

Just relax yourself,

Lie down comfortably,

Resting your head on the pillow,

Lie down.

Maybe you want to snuggle up with a soft toy or hold another pillow,

Just get cozy.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Feel your body.

Just watch it and today I'm going to share a story with you.

This is a story I used to hear as a kid,

Which my grandmother used to tell me.

So once there was a village and one day I have got magical powers and I will give each one of you a gift.

Since all of you are such beautiful people,

I want to give each one.

Outside this village,

When you walk out of this village,

The land belongs to me.

And you start tomorrow morning and keep walking.

And in whichever direction you walk,

How much ever area you can cover,

That land will become yours.

And on that land you can grow food,

You can do anything.

But there is one condition,

Before sunset you have to return to the point you started from.

So you start tomorrow morning and cover how much ever land you want.

The only condition is,

The land will be yours if you return to the starting point before sunset.

And now everybody was very excited.

Many of the people did not get any sleep thinking about how much land they will cover in the morning.

Many of them put on their walking shoes,

Started packing their backpacks with food and water.

And at the first rays of sunlight at dawn,

Many of the villagers started out and they were in a rush.

They were rushing through,

Running through,

Not noticing anything,

Not noticing the flowers,

The trees,

The birds.

Just running and running and running and running,

Trying to cover as much ground as possible.

Each one wanting to have an afternoon habit.

Many of them did not even stop to eat in their rush.

Many of them just gobbled up the food in a few minutes while continuing to walk.

Many of them forgot to drink water and they just kept going and going and going.

Time passed and it was almost time for sunset.

And they were still far away from their starting points,

Far away from home.

And then the sun set and many of them had reached so far that they forgot to return back to their starting point.

They forgot to return home and most of them got nothing.

Just few of them who had awareness and figured out that okay,

We have covered so much distance,

Now we should walk back to our starting point.

They were the only ones who got that life and they were such a small number,

Just a handful.

And this is such a beautiful story because it is not just a story,

It is symbolic of life.

So many people lead their life running,

Running,

Running,

Running.

Forgetting to take care of themselves,

Forgetting to watch what is a valley.

And they forget to ever come back home.

Become aware that this life is a gift and now is a time for rest.

Now is a time to come back home.

The whole day you might have worked but now take this moment to relax,

To come back home.

Because your body needs rest too.

When you sleep your body heals,

It rejuvenates itself.

And sleep is such a beautiful gift.

Take this moment to relax yourself.

Take this moment to just be here and allow this energy of love,

This energy of gratitude to flow over you.

Listening to these beautiful sounds,

Allowing yourself to drift away into a state of bliss,

Into a state of love,

Into a state of harmony.
