You can do this meditation while still in bed. In five minutes, set your energy and intentions for the day so that you can move forward with purpose and balance. This meditation is a 5-minute shot of positive energy to start the day.

Transcript

Take a moment to evaluate how your body feels this morning.

Do a quick check through the body.

Sending it love.

If there are any places that are a little tight,

A little stiff,

Just maybe breathe a little deeper into those areas.

Not trying to change anything,

But just sending that area a little bit more breath,

A little bit more love.

Now we're going to go over a few affirmations just to get our day off to a good start.

So you can either just listen and absorb or repeat along.

Today,

I live as my best self.

Today,

Take a deep inhale.

Hold on to that mantra,

Repeat it in your mind,

And release.

Today,

I welcome in whatever comes with a flexible mind and a determined spirit.

Today,

I welcome in whatever comes with a flexible mind and a determined spirit.

I welcome whatever comes with a flexible mind and a determined spirit.

Take a deep inhale.

Repeat the mantra in your head.

Hold on to it as long as you can,

And exhale.

Today,

I treat myself well so that I can treat others well.

Inhale.

Hold.

Hold the mantra,

Repeat it,

And release.

Last one.

Today,

I live fully and freely.

Hold all of these mantras,

Just keeping them close to your heart,

And as you exhale,

Exhale.

Exhale powerfully.

Gently blink the eyes open.

Find some nice gentle movements by just rotating the wrists and ankles,

Maybe rocking the knees back and forth before gently coming onto your side in order to push yourself up.

Plant those feet on the ground.

Beautiful.
