What an intriguing track!
I felt drawn down into the Lower World, but rather than actually GETTING there, I stopped along the way. This music evoked a sense of being in the dark, yet not afraid, of being alone yet not by myself - other presences were there but moving about their own business in the darkness, not threatening to me, just disinterested save a moment or two when I felt a curious yet neutral gaze upon me, which quickly disappeared. It was a sensation rather akin to finally walking a route usually driven at speed, thus becoming familiar with the shapes, sounds, smells, and sights (what there was to see) that had before been wholly missed as the area passed by in a hurried blur.
I've had that type of experience when living in an area heavily targeted by seasonal tourists. The half-serious joke among locals was that the tourists probably left knowing more about our town than we locals, as we never went and "did the town" with a "points of interest" map in hand.
I take this memory to connect with my experience in this practice. Slow down and observe the wonderous detail in the world around you.
Be present. Do not be future.
Thank you for sharing this with us here. I see the light in you. 🤲🏻❤️🤲🏻
