When I say my God,

I do not mean a figure seated on a throne,

I mean the energy that breathes galaxies,

The pulse that lives in oceans,

In wind,

In my chest.

My God has no borders,

No flags,

No fences,

No checkpoints.

My God doesn't ask for passports,

Doesn't care where I was born,

Or what language I speak,

Or how I pray.

This presence,

The source I feel in the stillness,

Moves like water,

Burns like fire,

Grounds like earth,

And dances like wind.

It cannot be confined.

No border patrol can detain the sacred.

No wall can stop light from rising.

The energy I call God moves through all things,

Between all people,

I was born belonging.

I carry the Huy in my breath,

In my heartbeat,

I look at another human being,
