This meditation is a beautiful heart opening meditation,
Opening up your heart so that you are more able to access your inner desires and more able to receive love and all good things that come to you.
So start by making yourself comfortable and cosy,
Either lying on the floor or on a bed or sitting,
Making sure that you are supported,
Making sure that your arms and your legs are relaxed.
Gently shutting your eyes when you feel ready and just starting to bring your awareness to your breathing.
Just notice how your in-breath comes in,
Nourishing your body and how it flows out,
Taking away anything that you don't need.
And as you become more aware of your breathing,
Just notice how your body starts to soften and release.
And the next time you breathe in,
I'd like you to imagine that you're breathing in a beautiful green light from the sky down through the crown of your head and in towards your heart area.
And as you breathe out,
Let that light spread around the whole of your heart,
Nourishing,
Filling your heart.
And every time you breathe in,
More of this lovely green light,
This green healing light,
Down to your heart.
And breathing out,
Let that heart area expand,
Filling in with the light.
Letting that focus softly fade,
Imagine that you're allowing your eyes to really rest deep in your eye sockets.
And imagine that you're turning downwards to look at your heart,
So that you can watch the whole area expand.
And as you breathe in and as you breathe out,
Your heart area continues to expand.
And you start to notice that you can see a beautiful lotus flower around your heart.
And as you look at this lotus flower,
You start to realise that it's glowing and vibrating.
And that looking at this area makes you want to smile,
Makes you feel happy.
Softly breathing in,
You start to notice that the lotus flower is beginning to open.
With every in-breath,
Petals open a little bit more and a little bit more.
And softly,
As these petals are gently opening,
You can see the glimmer of a jewel.
And the more the petals open,
The more of this beautiful jewel you can see.
And as you softly keep your awareness on this lovely glimmering jewel,
The lotus petals continue to softly unfurl until you can see that the jewel is an amazing green emerald.
And it's shining brightly.
Your jewel,
The jewel of your heart.
Feast your senses upon this amazing jewel.
Luxuriating with light that shines so brightly.
And ask your heart what it would like you to know.
Trusting that it will only let you know what is for your greatest and highest good.
And as you listen to the messages of your heart,
And you feast your eyes upon this beautiful jewel,
Allow a smile to come to your face.
Notice how happy your body feels.
And quietly thanking your jewel for shining so brightly for you.
Softly give permission to the lotus flower to start to close again.
Not so tightly this time.
And thank your heart.
Start to softly bring your awareness back to the rest of your body.
Feeling your arms,
Your legs,
Your back,
Your head.
Coming back to an awareness of the room and any sounds that you can hear.
And taking a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Start to prepare to return to your day with a smile on your face and joy in your heart.
Have a wriggle and a stretch.
Softly opening your eyes when you're ready.
Returning to the world happier and brighter.
