The focus of this short + sweet meditation is self-worth. It can be done anytime, anywhere. It works well first thing in the morning or while you are sitting on the train to work with your sunglasses on and headphones in. For these 9 minutes, we breathe together and focus on connecting back to our worth, while detaching from the need for validation from outside sources. Enjoy!

A guided meditation for self-worth.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

Filling the belly,

Ribs,

And chest all the way up.

And then open your mouth and clear it away.

One more just like that,

Big breath in.

And exhale let it go.

Now finding a comfortable seat somewhere where your hips can be a little higher than your knees.

We're laying all the way down onto your back.

And taking a moment to settle in here.

Placing your hands somewhere on your body.

Maybe it's the thighs,

Hips,

Belly,

Or the heart space.

Now sending breath into the palms of your hands wherever they are.

Feeling the connection,

The warmth from your hands radiating onto your body.

Feeling into your body,

Your entirety.

Noticing the sensations,

Any tingling or vibrating.

Feeling all of you.

Body and breath.

Spirit and soul.

Fingers,

Toes,

Belly.

The spaces between your breaths.

This body is home to everything.

Take a big breath in here.

Let it go.

Exhale.

Continuing with some full deep breaths.

And on the exhales,

Releasing any stuck,

Stale energy.

And allowing any shame or guilt to find its way out on the exhale.

Releasing it fully.

Big breath in.

Exhale.

Clear it away.

Clearing its heaviness.

Slowly feeling lighter and lighter.

As you are met with the echoing voices of shame,

Of guilt,

The judgmental dark thoughts,

The egoic chatter.

Bringing the attention gently back to your breath in these moments.

As these voices speak,

Meaningfully,

As these voices speak,

Meeting them with softness and awareness.

Noticing.

Breathing deeply into the tight fist clenched around your heart.

Releasing the grip that is holding you back from living as your truest,

Most authentic expression.

Breathing here.

You are held.

You are safe.

You are strong.

You are enough.

As this ruthless grip relaxes,

Resistance subsides.

The resistance to living and being exactly who you are.

And slowly,

Fierce love breaks through the cracks.

Slowly,

Your deepest and purest love rises to the surface.

Radiating from the core of your being,

Out through the pores of your skin and into the world around you.

This love,

This light is always here burning inside of you.

For you.

Having been here all along.

The searching,

The grasping,

The clenching ends now.

This frantic longing for something outside of yourself.

For your self-worth is not determined by those around you.

The validation,

The approval of others.

Your worth is innate.

You were born to be the true self.

You were born endlessly worthy of deep,

Deep love.

Soft breath in here.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Breathing here in this stillness.

Letting this energy land.

Feeling into the new space in the cracks and crevices inside of you,

Ready to receive.

Sinking deep into all of your goodness.

Without fail,

Without effort.

Without shame.

Giving yourself permission to simply be.

Meet yourself here,

In this space,

In this presence,

In this relief.

Just one breath more than yesterday.

Just one moment longer.

By meeting yourself exactly where you are.

You are in this space,

In this presence,

In this relief.

By meeting yourself exactly where you are.

You are loving the world.

Breathe here.

Feeling the palms of the hands rise and fall.

Breath is soft.

Belly is soft.

And sitting here as long as you would like.

As long as you feel called to sit here.

And whenever you're ready,

Slowly blinking the eyes open to the room around you.

Namaste.

Thank you.

My mind had a hard time letting go of other thoughts and I felt resistance to the messaging, but I know those are just observations. Once I got into it more, my breathing got deeper and less shallow & I felt much more calm.
