Sitting tall or laying down on your back,

Finding yourself in a comfortable position,

A place where you feel supported by the earth,

You feel grounded and free of any pain.

Let the eyes soften or gently close,

Releasing the shoulders down the back and any tightness or grip of the belly.

Letting that breath flow in and out freely,

Belly rises,

Belly falls.

Bringing your attention to your physical body,

The sensation of where your body meets the earth.

Maybe this is your hips,

Your sitz bones,

Your legs.

Drawing attention to that spot,

This beautiful earth we move about all day,

Every day.

Welcome this deep connection between you and Mother Earth.

And allow her support to hold you.

And bring something to mind that immediately makes you smile.

A person,

A pet,

An image.

And breathe softly.

No control over the breath.

Letting it flow in and out.

Keep this image in your mind's eye.

And allow a soft smile to form at the mouth.

Feeling that smile travel into your ears,

Your heart,

Your hips,

And your feet.

Feeling the whole body ignite with this sense of love.

Breathing into these areas.

This body that works hard to do right by you,

To be there for you.

Day in and day out.

Using your breath to massage your organs.

Breathing deep.

And as the breath travels in and out,

Gently massaging the organs of the body.

Bringing to mind the question.

What am I happy about now?

What could I be happy about if I wanted to?

Starting to shift into this sense of joy.

This confident safe space.

To feel grateful for all that you are and all that you have.

Breath in.

Breath out.

Allowing the body to simply be breathed.

And as this breath continues,

Bringing another person or place or image to mind that brings you joy.

An image that makes you feel safe,

That makes you feel heard and at home.

Feel this love pour through your body.

Allow it to dance through your cells as you breathe.

This love is the essence of gratitude.

To love and be loved.

To feel love in every ounce,

Every cell,

Every second.

Every movement of the tongue,

Every rainy day,

Every laugh,

Every look,

Every tingle up the spine.

Love seeps into your pores,

Dances with your cells only to come right back out with your breath.

Be grateful for all things,

For all that you have and all that you are.

Quick but effective meditation. Loved sending the smile throughout your whole body - it was a different take and it was a useful release to send more positive, happy vibes through the body.
