Find a place to sit comfortably on the ground with your back against the wall so that your spine is straight and your lungs are free to fill up and release air entirely.
If it's comfortable for you,
Cross your legs and root down through your sitz bones or simply come to lie on your back.
Now gently allow the eyes to close.
Simply inhale for a count of 1,
2,
3,
Pausing at the top and exhale out loud.
Inhaling,
Gathering up all of your nervous energy,
Pause.
Exhale to release it all.
Repeating this slow,
Intentional breath in and out.
Full inhale,
Pause.
Full exhale,
Let it go.
Sifting through any uncomfortable feelings and letting them go.
In and out.
Each breath gathering a little more nervous energy and each exhale releasing it out into the world around you.
Now allow your belly to fill up with air,
Feeling the tiny muscles in between your ribs expand as you breathe in,
Then releasing everything as you exhale.
Again breathing in,
Expanding your belly,
Letting it go.
Keeping the low belly up with breath,
Then the lungs,
Then the chest.
Pause for a moment,
Then slowly releasing all of your air and stress,
Breathing out all of that stale,
Stuck energy.
Letting the tension release through the ends of your fingers and toes.
Let it float away.
Unfurrow the space between your eyebrows.
Let your mouth gently release open,
Unclenching your jaw,
Your tongue no longer touching the roof of your mouth.
Continuing to breathe softly and slowly in and out.
With every breath,
You create space in your heart,
Space in your mind,
Freeing up any blockage in your nervous system and allowing yourself to settle here,
Safe,
Just as you are.
Thinking deep,
Everything is okay.
Slow breath in,
Slow breath out.
Reversing on your breath allows you to pause.
And with that pause,
Space is created,
Space for love to flow in,
Love for yourself,
The love that you deserve to have for yourself,
Envisioning this love as a safety net all around you,
Holding you,
Taking it with you.
Being authentic and true to yourself is walking through fear.
Breathing in one,
Two,
Three,
And out with a sigh.
You are safe,
You are loved,
You are a gift.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Slowly bringing your attention back to your physical body,
Letting the eyes blink open to the room around you.
Taking a moment and go in peace.
Namaste.
