Welcome to this self-love meditation.
In today's practice,
We will focus on cultivating a deep sense of love and compassion for ourselves.
Often we find it easy to extend kindness and care to others,
But struggle to do the same for ourselves.
Remember.
Taking care of yourself first.
Mentally?
Emotionally.
And physically.
Allows you to be more present,
More loving and more supportive to those around you.
Self-love is not selfish.
It is the foundation from which you can serve others with greater compassion and joy.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale.
.
.
Let go of any tension you may be holding.
Allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment.
This space of self-compassion as we move through this meditation.
We're going to shift the way we speak to ourselves.
Think for a moment.
How do you normally speak to yourself?
Of the words kind.
Are they supportive?
Take a deep breath.
And bring to mind.
A recent situation.
Where you were critical or hard on yourself.
Without judgement.
Just observe how you felt in that moment.
On your next inhale.
Imagine letting go of that critical voice.
With your exhale,
Release it completely.
In its place.
Let's introduce a new loving dialogue.
Gently repeat these words to yourself.
I am worthy of love and care.
I am doing my best and that is enough.
I release self-criticism and welcome self-compassion.
With each affirmation.
Otis How your body softens.
And your mind.
Begins.
To relax.
Visualize a warm,
Golden light.
Gluing in the center of your chest.
This is the energy of self-love.
With each breath.
Feel this light growing stronger.
Expanding outward.
Let it fill your entire body.
Radiating warmth.
Love.
And kindness towards yourself.
As this light grows Imagine that it is dissolving any negative self-talk or doubt.
With each breath.
You are replacing judgment.
With compassion.
Replacing criticism with acceptance.
Feel how this love nourishes you from within.
Allowing you to feel more grounded,
More at peace.
Let's reflect.
On the power of self-love.
When you speak kindly to yourself.
When you prioritize your well-being.
You not only transform your inner world,
But your outer world as well.
By filling yourself with love and care.
You create space to help others with more patience.
Understanding.
And empathy.
Self-love is not about being selfish.
It is about recognising that you cannot pour from an empty cup.
By nurturing your mental,
Emotional and physical health.
You become stronger.
More resilient.
And more capable of being there.
For the people.
You love.
As you sit in this space of self-love.
Silently.
Repeat these affirmations.
I love and accept myself exactly as I am.
I honour my needs and make space for my wellbeing.
By taking care of myself.
I am better equipped to care for others.
Allow these affirmations.
To settle into your heart.
And as you breathe.
Feel the truth.
Of each one.
As we begin to close this meditation.
Take a moment to set an intention.
How will you carry this practice of self-love into your daily life?
Maybe.
It's through changing the way you speak to yourself.
Or allowing yourself the time to rest when you need it.
When you're ready.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale.
Slowly open your eyes.
Carry this feeling of love and compassion with you.
Knowing that by nurturing yourself You are creating a ripple effect of love.
And care in the world around you.
Thank you for giving yourself this time today.
Remember.
Self-love is life-changing.
And you deserve to experience it every day.
