“Farewell” is a journey inside the act of saying goodbye, loss and end of life. Garth Stevenson wrote this piece in memory of his grandmother. The music features layers of bowed double bass and piano and is from Garth Stevenson’s album “Voyage”.

This is the morning I have to say goodbye to my beloved dog, my constant companion and friend. Your music quieted my worried thoughts, as the sun rises, the soft tones rise and roll. His soul drifts off in the breeze and becomes part of the universe.
