Welcome to Day 30 of the Mindful Mornings Challenge. This Challenge reminds me of the month I spent on an icebreaker, traveling from the southern tip of Argentina to the Antarctica Peninsula. Some days the seas were calm, while others were unforgiving. One morning we awoke to icebergs drifting by; fortresses bobbing in the sea. The feeling of being at sea for a month was the inspiration for this piece of music. Close your eyes and imagine you are traveling to Antarctica this morning.

Omg, I'm in LOVE with those deep bass notes!! And yes, I could easily imagine floating by ice bergs while this played. That had to be a deeply peaceful experience.

The visuals that came from the music was surprisingly clear, like I could see the animals with each vibration and made me think about how we are all different and beautiful vibrations.

Thank you so much for creating this masterpiece. I first listened to it for the January 2021 Mindful Mornings 31 Day Challenge. It is my favorite of them all. I've listened to it so many times, but it has been awhile. I'm so happy someone created a playlist of all the meditations from the challenge. Our group is still going strong and this meditation just reminds why the group is so special. 💖🙏✨

This is a beautiful piece of music. Emotive, transportive and layered with story. I’d heard it before but knowing the inspiration behind it and from Garth himself really gave it a deeper meaning and resonation. I grew up at sea for the first ten years of my life as my father was a captain on merchant vessels. I could almost see the horizon, the ever-changing nature of it and the joy and awe it brought with each day. Thank you for creating this. It’s almost a intensely beautiful soundtrack to my childhood.

I love this piece, especially after hearing the musician’s humble narrative about its conception on a ship sailing to Antarctica. The music evokes powerful visual images of majestic icebergs and frigid sea, and relays the composer’s delight in spotting sea animals like whales and seals. Truly synesthetic - I listen to this piece often because It cools me down!

Mind-blowing. This music can reach our inner chords to make them sing with the whales

One of the most beautiful and moving pieces of music that touches my spirit. And the visual of icebergs reminds us of life. Thank you for this gift!
