Deserted Beach Guided Body Scan With Melodica & Tongue Drum

The gentle sounds of melodica and tongue drums, combined with marine sounds, are the audio setting for this guided meditation. Belonging to the body scan type of meditation, it has a nice visualisation added to it. In my experience, it is easier to follow along with the body scan when a visualisation is added.

Let's start imagining that we are laying on a deserted beach.

We can hear the sound of the waves.

We can feel the sand beneath our body.

We can also listen to the seagulls surrounding us in this serene natural landscape.

What's special about this visualization is that we have to imagine that our body laying on this beach is made of sand.

The same sand all the shore is covered.

And I want you to imagine now that a wave comes and reaches your toes and the sole of your feet.

And imagine and visualize how these parts of your body start melting down,

Start dissolving to the wave.

And as another wave comes,

This one is going to touch your ankles and also your ankles will merge into the seashore dissolved by the water.

As another wave approaches,

Your calves and your knees are washed over and they disappear in the seashore.

Your thighs and you can see how now all your legs have disappeared,

The sand is now mixed into the water.

A new wave comes in from the sea,

Reaching up to your hips and pelvic bones.

See how this area is washed away too,

Disappearing into the sea as a new wave comes and reaches all your organs.

The navel is gone,

Intestines and the lower spine washed away by this wave.

The following wave is also touching your hands and arms and you can sense as they disappear into the sea.

Feel now how the next wave touches your chest and your arms too.

Feel your lungs,

Heart to be washed away into the sea.

As the next wave arrives,

You feel your neck and jaw being washed away,

Just as all the rest of your body.

Another wave comes,

Touching your cheeks,

Your ears and nose,

Washing them away too.

Sense now the last wave covering your brow,

Your eyes,

Your skull and washing away whatever is left of your body made of sand.

See how the beach is smooth and silky,

Your body is relaxed into the sea.
