Being open to its message and feeling the love that you hold there.
Sitting in a comfortable position with your eyes closed,
Place both hands over your heart.
For the count of three,
Take a deep breath in and then back out again.

Feel the rise and fall of your hands as you take these long breaths in and out.
With the next breath in,
Feel your consciousness being drawn into your heart.
And with the breath out,
Feel it settling into this space.
Allow your breath to return to its regular rhythm as you rest within this place,
Your heart delighting in having this time with you.
Take a few moments to greet your heart now and inquire how it feels in this moment.
With your mind's eye,
Look around you.
What can you see in your heart?
Are there any people,
Animals or objects that catch your eye?
Do they have a message for you?
Open your ears.
What song is your heart singing to you?
Is there a touch of melancholy in its melody or is there a lightness to its tune?
Can you allow this song to grow louder until it permeates your entire being?
What are you feeling as you sit in this space?
Allow those feelings to flow through your body,
Releasing tension as they wash over you.
Your heart is always here to connect with you.
Take a few moments to ask what it needs today.
Taking a deep breath in,
Thank your heart for this time together and any message it has given to you.
