Take a couple of moments just to settle in wherever you are sitting or lying and give yourself permission to just be for the next couple of minutes.
Focus your attention on your breath,
Not changing anything,
Just being aware of the flow of air moving into your lungs and out.
When you are ready,
You can gently close your eyes.
You find yourself on top of a hill,
A beautiful green hill,
Looking at a valley going down below.
As you walk,
You can hear birds singing to you and the sounds of insects.
You feel the earth underneath your feet and a slight breeze on your face.
You start making your way down the hill and you find yourself walking in a lavender field,
Most beautiful purple all around you.
It makes you feel happy,
It makes you feel connected with yourself.
A bit further,
The lavender changes into flowers that are of the deepest deepest indigo and you feel how your senses are awakened.
From the indigo,
You find the most beautiful blue field and you walk through that,
Making you want to exclaim and share the beauty of what you see around you.
The blue flowers make way for the purest green grass under your feet.
You feel the healing flowing up and you feel emotionally strong as you walk on the grass.
From the grass,
You start seeing the most beautiful yellow daisies and you feel as you walk through the daisies that you are worthy,
That you are strong and that you are unique.
The yellow starts making way for orange flowers and in the orange,
You sense that you are creative,
You are a person of absolute creativity.
From the orange,
You make your way into a field of the most pure red flowers,
Feeling grounded,
Being sure of your roots and of your reality.
Finally you reach the bottom of the valley.
In the distance,
You can see a massive outcropping,
A rock that stands out in this valley.
Walk towards the side of the rock.
As you reach the side of the rock,
You can hear somebody crying at the end of it.
This is your inner child,
A part of you that has been forgotten sometimes,
Part of you that needs healing.
Take a deep breath and walk around to meet your inner child.
The child looks up with so much gratitude and so much love in their eyes,
Knowing that you have finally come to help them heal.
If you feel the need,
Hug your inner child and tell them stories,
Tell them about things that they need to know.
Give them the advice that you needed as a young person.
Take some time now as well to have fun,
Fun as the inner child and allow yourself to connect to the childlike innocence that you have inside of you and give yourself permission to be a child again.
The time has come now to say goodbye to your inner child.
You can see that they are healed,
That they are healing,
They are happy.
Know that you can connect with your inner child at any time that you need to and want to.
All you need to do is close your eyes and visit this rock and outcropping again in the valley.
As you turn to say goodbye to your inner child,
Something amazing happens.
They run up to you,
Hug you tight and merge with you,
Becoming one with you.
You feel a childlike joy at connecting with your inner child again and you make your way back up the hill through the red,
The orange,
The yellow,
The green,
The blue,
The indigo,
The purple and back to the top of the hill.
From there you start becoming more and more aware of your surroundings.
You wiggle your toes and you start moving your fingers,
Becoming more and more awake.
Take a deep breath and when you are ready,
Return to the present completely and open your eyes.
