This meditation is great for beginners and even experienced meditators who want to recharge and fill one's cup,

It is recommended that you find a quiet space for this practice,

Let's begin.
Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Either lying down or seated.
Close your eyes.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Notice the sound of air as it passes through your nose or your mouth.
Begin breathing slow and deep.
Exhale all of your air.
Breathe in for a count of 5,

Now allow the sound of your breath to mimic that of an ocean wave.
Imagine that you are sitting on a sandy beach.
You can hear the ocean waves as they move in and out from the shore.
You can feel the warmth of the sun as it shines on your head and your shoulders.
You can feel the grounding energy of the sand.
You can feel a gentle breeze as it moves across your skin.
Hear the ocean waves.
Feel the warmth of the sun.
Feel the grounding energy of the sand.
Feel the gentle breeze.
Now imagine that you can absorb these elements by way of your breath.
With your next inhale,
Breathe in the cleansing sensation of the ocean water.
Breathe out any old or stale energy.
Breathe in the cleansing sensation of the water.
Breathe out any old stale energy.
With your next inhale,
Imagine breathing in the healing light of the sun.
And breathe out any darkness or shadowy energy.
Breathe in the light of the sun.
Breathe out any darkness.
With your next inhale,
Feel the grounding energy of the sand as it moves through your spine.
With your exhale,
Breathe out any scattered or ungrounded energy.
Breathe in the grounding energy.
And breathe out any scattered energy.
With your next inhale,
Feel the wind as it passes through your lungs.
And breathe out anything not serving you.
Breathe in new air and energy.
Breathe out any old energy.
Breathe in the new.
Breathe out the old.
Now breathe in the sun's rays and feel the light moving into your lungs.
Breathe out the light.
