Your meditation guide.

Welcome to the Loving-Kindness for the Self meditation with traditional Loving-Kindness phrases.

Be comfortable in your space.

Now close your eyes down gently.

Take a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Once again take a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Bring your awareness to the feeling of your breath.

Feel the rise and fall of your body as you breathe in and breathe out.

As you breathe,

Begin to pay attention to the area of the heart.

Feel your heart awakening and calming with each breath,

Embracing the presence of your heart here in this moment.

Now bring your awareness to yourself and directing Loving-Kindness phrases towards yourself.

Repeat the phrases silently in your mind.

May I be filled with Loving-Kindness May I be filled with Loving-Kindness May I be happy May I be happy May I be safe May I be safe May I be well in body and in mind May I be well in body and in mind May I be peaceful May I be peaceful May I live with ease May I live with ease Feeling the Loving-Kindness.

Now relax the muscles in your body.

Bring awareness to the space around you.
