Healing Light for the Body is a meditation to support someone on their physical healing journey. It can also be ustilized for those wanting to maintain and support their physical health, and to give back to the body. It is a meditation that encourages compassion and gratitude for the body's natural healing function.

Transcript

Begin by first ensuring that you are in a comfortable seated or lying down position.

Once you're settled,

Allow yourself to breathe in as deeply as you comfortably can.

As you exhale,

Gently close your eyes,

Allowing yourself to turn your attention inward.

Take another deep cleansing breath and begin to move your attention from your mind into your body.

With this next breath,

As you exhale,

Begin to move your attention all the way down to the bottom of your feet and just become aware of where your feet are resting.

Gently move your attention now to your body resting on the seat beneath you and just become aware of that contact place where your body ends and the seat beneath you begins.

Gently now move your attention to your hands and just notice where they're resting.

Begin to notice the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe and the breath as it passes in and out through the nostrils.

Breathing in as deeply as you comfortably can now,

Just continue to bathe your body with your attention and with your breath.

Imagining waves of relaxation just washing over you and through your entire body.

With each breath becoming more and more relaxed,

Imagining waves of relaxation cascading down from the top of your head,

Washing down through your scalp and your forehead,

Washing over your face and your jawline,

Waves cascading through your neck and your shoulders,

Washing over and through your arms,

Down through your wrists,

Hands and out through your fingertips.

Waves of relaxation just pouring through your chest and your back,

Down through your torso and your pelvis,

Wave upon wave,

Washing through your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves.

Waves of relaxation cascading down through your ankles,

Your feet and out through your toes.

Becoming more and more relaxed.

You are completely safe here,

Completely supported,

Completely accepted here.

And now imagine a beam of white,

Loving,

Healing light shining down on you,

Engulfing your entire body.

The more you focus on this beam,

The more it grows stronger and brighter.

And you are enveloped in this light.

This warm,

Loving,

Healing light.

Allow yourself to be cradled in this light,

To be completely held and encased in this light.

With each breath,

The light continues to grow stronger,

Grows warmer,

Grows brighter.

As you inhale now,

Imagine yourself breathing in this light.

With each breath,

Your lungs fill with this warm,

Loving,

Healing light.

Every cell in the lungs are filled with this light.

With each inhalation,

More and more light enters into the body.

This light begins to expand out of the lungs,

Filling the heart space.

Seeing your heart filling and expanding with this warm,

Loving,

Healing light.

With each beat of your heart,

This light travels through your veins and is sent out to every cell and every inch of your body.

With each exhalation surrendering and becoming more relaxed.

With each inhalation becoming more filled with warm,

Loving light.

Until every cell and every corner of your body is brimming with this light.

The body is completely filled,

Completely vibrating with this warm,

Loving,

Healing light.

Until finally the light permeates the boundaries of the body and the body becomes one with this light.

With this warm,

Loving,

Healing light,

You continue to surrender into relaxation as you exhale and be one with this light as you inhale.

Completely allow yourself to be cradled in this light,

To bask,

To be one with this light,

This warm,

Loving,

Healing light.

With each exhalation now imagine your body releasing any toxins,

Any pain,

Any illness,

Any stuck energy,

Allowing this energy to be replaced with healing light.

Begin to move your attention now to any areas of the body that may need some extra care.

And now imagine as you breathe in this light that this light travels directly to these areas of the body that are in need of great love,

Great compassion,

Great healing.

With each inhalation surround this area of your body with this warm,

Loving,

Healing light,

Allowing this light to intensify in this area of your body,

Watching as this area of the body is healed and transforms into wholeness again.

Imagine this light healing any ailments.

Imagine the body transforming into oneness with the healing power of this warm,

Loving,

Healing light.

Continue to inhale and move this light to the areas of your body that need the most attention right now.

With compassion,

With kindness,

With gentleness,

Cradle these areas of your body with this warm,

Loving light.

And let this compassionate light heal.

See it transforming.

See the ailment dissolving into the light.

And see this part of your body becoming whole once again,

Bursting with loving light.

Continue to breathe into these areas of your body,

Transforming them with this warm,

Loving,

Healing light,

Patiently,

Gently,

Compassionately.

Take a moment now to really appreciate the body,

Recognizing and acknowledging that the body has done so much for you,

That it has been such a loyal companion on your earth walk so far.

It deserves your attention,

Your compassion,

Your patience and understanding.

Sometimes the body becomes tired.

It speaks to us and sometimes gets loud to get our attention.

And so we take this time to fill it back up,

To give back to it.

And we fill it with energizing,

Loving,

Healing light.

We thank each part of the body for every function,

Every process,

Everything that the body does day in and day out.

We send gratitude and understanding to these areas of the body now that need some extra care and attention.

They need to be held with love and gratitude.

Continue to breathe into these areas of your body,

Allowing them to be filled with warm,

Loving,

Healing light,

To be transformed and healed as they are enveloped in this light.

Take your time now to continue to do this,

Intensifying this light into areas of the body that require extra attention right now.

Gently now,

Begin to start to bring yourself back,

Knowing that you can always return to this place and allow yourself to be held in this light,

To be cradled and taken care of.

Begin to become aware of your body again.

Begin to notice where your feet are resting,

Where your hands are resting.

Begin to allow yourself to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Notice your body resting on the seat beneath you.

And when you're ready,

Just begin to bring yourself back into the room and gently open your eyes.
