Just take a moment now to get comfortable in your seat.

Finally close your eyes and breathe in as deeply as you comfortably can.

With this next breath now as you exhale just begin to move your attention and your awareness all the way down to the bottom of your feet.

And just become aware of where your feet are resting.

And now just move your attention to your body resting on the seat beneath you.

And become aware of that contact place where your body ends and the seat beneath you begins.

And now just gently move your attention to your hands and notice where they're resting.

Breathing in as deeply as you comfortably can.

With these next few breaths now just gently move your attention and your awareness all the way back up to the top of your head.

And just become aware of the location of the top of your head in relation to the rest of your body.

Now just gently move your attention wrap your attention around to the back of your neck.

And just place your attention there on the back of your neck.

Become aware of the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.

Begin to follow the breath as it passes in and out through the nostrils.

Breathing in as deeply as you comfortably can now begin to scan your body.

And as you scan your body become aware of any areas of your body that may be holding on to any tension,

Any tightness,

Any stress,

Any aches or pains.

Just notice where you might hold that energy in your body.

And with these next few breaths now as you breathe in,

Breathe into those areas of your body that may be holding on to tight or tense energy.

And as you breathe in to those areas of your body just imagine the sensation opening,

Loosening,

Expanding and then imagine it all leaving through your out-breath.

Giving your body permission,

Giving all of the little muscles in your body permission to relax and release.

Just imagine all of that tension leaving through your out-breath.

Creating a little more inner space.

And now just take a moment to connect with your inner voice and gently ask what is my highest intention for this day.

What is it that I need to do,

Be,

Action,

Understand,

Forgive?

That will serve my highest good,

My highest purpose.

And just trust any thoughts or feelings or images that come forward.

And when you're ready,

Gently begin to bring yourself back into the room and open your eyes.

Loved this meditation, it really helped me start my day with more calm! (However, at some points the music felt too loud and I had a bit of trouble listening to the words)
