During this 10-day course you will be given all of my favourite tools and techniques to drop into a deep state of calm and peace. These techniques help to create deep connections with your self, your loved ones and your children. They help you to engage mindfulness and visualisations in order to bring your awareness to difficult situations and patterning you may want to change within yourself and you parenting. During the 10 days we will focus on nourishment of the body and my quick and easy techniques to make sure you are nourished when managing busy schedules.
Emily is a dedicated mother of three beautiful boys, a business owner and a naturopath who runs online programs supporting men and women to be the best versions of themselves through mindset, food as medicine and self care. Lección 1
Who Am I?
In this first session, I welcome you to the journey of discovery. Today, we will discuss the fundamentals of surviving motherhood and consciously tuning into who you are after becoming a Mother. We will undergo a practice where you can “tune into you” and discover what it is that you are holding. Here, we will learn the tools to manage all the balls we have up in the air, setting an intention, designed to identify what your needs are and how you can turn your energy inward and best cater to yourself.
Lección 2
Processing Emotions
To model emotional resilience for our children, we need to understand how to process and understand our own emotions. In today’s session, we will practice noticing what comes up in the body, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, when sitting in stillness. Together, we come to an understanding of the importance of recognising our emotions as separate from ourselves, enabling us to hold a non judgement and self loving perspective towards any emotions we may be feeling.
Lección 3
Nurturing And Nourishing Our Bodies
Today’s session is about nurturing and nourishing our bodies. As mums, there are a number of fundamental and easy shifts we can make, to enable us to be more energised for our children and ourselves. Through turning inwards and uncovering what it is we really need, we will undoubtedly feel more clear and stable. Today, we will learn some simple tips together, to make sure we are physically nourished. These include: adequate nutrition, hydration and reducing toxicity. During this practice we will delve into a meditation practice, intended to help us cultivate awareness of what our own, regular, ceremonies and rituals are.
Lección 4
The Art Of Acknowledgement
Today is about acknowledgement: acknowledgement of ourselves, the paths we’ve walked, and the breakdowns and breakthroughs we’ve been through. We will practice acknowledging what arises when we give ourselves stillness and space, approaching these thoughts without judgement or reaction. This practice will present us with the ways in which, we may busy ourselves from what we are actually feeling. We will then delve into setting the intention to incorporate mindfulness, in and around our family, with a level of personal accountability.
Lección 5
The Voice And The Noise
On Day 5 we will be discussing the “voice and the noise.” The 'chatter mind' is one you may be familiar with, a state where unwanted and unhelpful thoughts can cloud our thinking. On the other hand, the “voice” is our divine intuition coming through, embodied by a positive, supportive voice of guidance, one we can always trust. In this session, we will be discussing how to differentiate between the voice and the noise and learning how to quiet the chatter.
Lección 6
Being Vs. Doing
Today’s session is about being vs doing. After all, we are human beings not human doings. Often we get caught up in the things that need doing, filling our days with to-do lists, which although, can be helpful, can mean we forget to stop and just, be. In today’s session we will incorporate a meditation that will help you drop into your being, relax, heal and re-connect with yourself.
Lección 7
Understanding Patterning And Beliefs
In today’s session we will discuss awareness and patterning, where we will come to a deeper understanding of where we are and where we come from. It is from a young age, that we make a choice about how we comprehend, perceive and feel about certain facets of life. This is often something we inherit from our parents. In today’s session, together, we will learn to notice the ingrained patterns that play out in the way we mother our children, and in other aspects of our life, perhaps, in our relationship or in our career.
Lección 8
Energy Exchanges
Today, on Day 8, we will be be discussing how important it is to notice where your energy bodies are at, how the energetic bodies effect our actual energy, how interactions with our family, friends and children can impact our energy and, how our energetic, spiritual and physical bodies are all interconnected.
Lección 9
Connection To Soul
Today, we will be discussing the concept of soul, connection and relationships with others. It is easy to get lost in a web of ideas and expectations put forth by others, inhibiting our own desires and needs to come to the forefront. Today, we will delve into an exploration of coming to understand how it is, you connect with yourself, and ways in which you could connect to yourself more. Together, we will create a plan moving forward, to ensure your soul is shining.
Lección 10
Celebration!
On our final day, let us make this your day to honour yourself. After all, you’ve committed to yourself, 10 days of mindfulness! Today’s key focus is on celebration. Often as adults, we complete something we’ve been working on for a long time and move straight on to the next thing. Instead, let us honour these achievements and simultaneously, honour ourselves. By marking these moments in time, by celebration or ritual, we bring spirit and soul into whatever we are celebrating.
