Learn scientifically proven techniques that calm the body and mind to feel relaxed now and carry this feeling every day after. Uncover what is happening inside the body when you become anxious/ stressed/ angry to know how to reverse it with your breath. This course has been designed and created to give you some knowledge and tools you need so that you do not feel controlled by your emotions. Other takeaways from this course include: feeling calmer in day-to-day life, feeling less triggered on a day-to-day basis, and gaining the ability to reduce stress in real time (as it is happening). Tami has spent many years studying, practicing, and teaching various anxiety and stress relief methods and bringing more relaxation to the public. Tami's journey began in 2014 at University studying Psychology and the neurophysiology of depression in the brain. Further down the line Tami began to explore how powerful meditation and breathwork are...

Lección 1
Witness & Control Your Breath (Belly & Chest Breathing)
Using breath awareness we will strengthen your brain to muscle pathways (neuroplasticity). This will give you more control over how you breathe and enable you to move the muscles in the torso more freely. This will allow you to not only take deeper/ fuller breaths but also result in more movement being available in your body (less tension in your shoulders, neck, and back - heavenly).
Lección 2
How Breath Speed & Length Changes How You Feel
Using your awareness of how you are breathing, you will begin to adjust the speed and length of your breath. I will first describe what is happening within the body and why we need to be able to access the stress response (yes, it is a genuinely useful state, in the right situations). Finally, I will explain a way of how you can use your breath to move away from the stress response and into a calmer state of mind (and body).
Lección 3
Yogic Breathing: How To Perform A Deeper Breath
In this lesson, you will learn how to bring more oxygen into the body (in just one breath). Oxygen is the number one thing your body wants and needs to survive. I will then discuss how you can alter your breath so unpleasant emotions become less intense to experience.
Lección 4
The Nervous System: Switching From Stress To A Feeling Of Safety
How you can use your breath to switch toward a feeling of safety. A description of how the nervous system reacts to a perceived stressor and why your body responds in this way. Finally how the breath can change the brain's structure by creating new pathways/ associations (neuroplasticity).
Lección 5
Physiological Sigh: The Breath That Provides Immediate Relief
This lesson looks into your lungs. You will discover why your inhale is also important in the relaxation process when performed in a particular way. Followed by the fastest way you can calm your body in real-time (immediate relief).
Lección 6
Box Breathing: The Breath That Provides Long-Term Relief
All of the previous lessons were your foundations for this final breathwork. I will give you a unique and vital ingredient for your breathwork by walking you through a short and simple test. Followed by how to perform the breathwork and why it will help bring you long term relief from stress and anxiety in the future.
