Lección 1
Why Do We Meditate?
This lesson explores the reason for and benefits of meditating. You will be given the outline of the following course and what you have to expect and look forward to in the days to come.
Lección 2
Diving Into The Science
Meditation has gained so much popularity recently because the research has finally caught up to what ancient traditions have known for a long time. Mindfulness practices improve quality of life, sleep, and self-esteem. Learn more about the science-backed research of meditation in this lesson.
Lección 3
Misconceptions About Meditating
Meditating can feel intimidating enough without all of the expectations. This lesson will break down and break through some of the common fears, hesitations, and misconceptions that keep people from developing a personal meditation practice.
Lección 4
Breaking It All Down
This lesson will break down posture, position, senses, hand placement, eye focal point, and more in order for you to feel fully comfortable and ready for your first full meditation.
Lección 5
Breathwork Practice
This is the first full meditation practice of the course. You will be guided through a breathing practice to start getting comfortable with using your breath as an anchor point for your awareness.
Lección 6
Body Scan Meditation
This meditation will bring your practice one step deeper, with a mindful scan of your physical body and the use of your breath. You will be guided to notice sensations and to keep your awareness open and receptive.
Lección 7
Final Mindfulness Meditation
You made it! This is the final meditation of this course. It is a meditation that will guide you through all aspects of meditation that we have covered in this course. You are invited to continue in silent meditation after the track continues. Once you complete this lesson you can call yourself a full-fledged meditator!
