
Focus On Growing The Good
"If you keep focusing your attention on your dream life, you’ll attract everything needed to exist at that new frequency." In this video, I expand on this book quote and share how you can use the superpower you were born with, which is your focused attention, to create a life your heart loves.

I want to read you this quote that can change your perspective and by changing your perspective,
Truly change your life.
And the quote is,
If you keep focusing your attention on your dream life,
You'll attract everything needed to exist at that new frequency.
And now I want to talk about this quote.
So it comes from a book that I wrote called A Manual for Manifesting Your Dream Life.
And the idea is that everything in this world and this human experience is energy.
And whatever you focus on grows.
So if you notice throughout your day,
Your attention is always focused on something.
And maybe you may spend some time checking the news,
Your social media feed,
Reading a good book,
Watching an inspirational video,
Listening to a podcast.
Having a great conversation with a friend or family member.
And all of these different activities change how you feel.
And it's truly changing where you're focusing your attention,
Which actually dramatically changed what you manifest into your life.
So think of every single thing as energy,
And whenever you're participating in an activity and focusing your attention in a particular way,
You're amplifying that energy.
And it's a mirror where you'll manifest things in your life that respond to that energy that you're growing.
Another way to look at it is to think of your attention as water.
And everything you're focusing your attention on is something.

.
That can grow in your inner garden.
So whenever you're focusing on something,
You're watering it,
You're growing it.
And it's growing its energy within you that will then out picture in your life in the life circumstances.
Relationships and things that you attract into your life.
Now this is a neutral thing.
It's not inherently good or bad.
But it can help you bring in things you want.
But it also can bring in things you don't want.
So the key is to bring awareness to how your superpower of focused attention works.
So you can use it consciously to create a life you love.
So what I encourage you to do is begin to become mindful of where you're focusing your attention throughout the day.
Where is your energy going?
Whenever your.
.
.
Going through your day-to-day life notice how often you're picking up your phone to check social media or to listen to an inspiring podcast or whatever it is.
And then once you begin to notice what you're doing with your energy and your focused attention,
Bring awareness to how you feel each time you participate in a specific activity.
A lot of times.
.
.
We get this message from society that in order to have success,
And success usually means more impact or more income.
For a lot of people.
We have to work harder.
And the first thing is,
Is that really what we want?
Is that what success means to us?
But also.
.
.
Working hard is not the best way to even get those things if that's what you desire.
The key is to align your energy with the frequency of the version of yourself who already has the things you want.
A lot of times we may say we want material abundance,
But what we actually want is to feel safe,
To have time to spend with our loved ones,
And to pursue the passions.
That we feel calling us within our heart.
And instead of focusing on increasing money as.
.
.
This idea that we think will make us happy.
Focus on the things that you truly want.
What do you want the money for?
And then you can focus your attention on growing those energies within yourself right now.
So let's say the main reason that you want more success in your life And let's use financial success for this example.
Is because you want to spend more time doing work that you love,
Working on your passions,
Spending time doing things you enjoy instead of things you dislike.
Well,
Instead of keep saying,
I want more money,
I'm going to focus on more money.
Focus on appreciating how you feel when you do the passion that you love.
If you love to paint.
How does it feel when you paint?
How good does it feel?
And you don't have to be painting all the time because you may have a busy schedule.
It may not be realistic.
But try to do it as often as you can,
Even if you can only squeeze in 10,
20 minutes.
Spending that time focusing on something that your heart truly enjoys.
Will change your frequency and your energetic state.
And even though it may not lead to you creating these paintings that make a lot of money and then you can become a full-time painter,
Then just stick with me.
This is just one example.
This could apply to anything.
It changes your energetic state which brings in new opportunities that your mind may not even be able to predict.
Just because you're focusing on that thing that you really love.
So the key is not to get too caught up in trying to understand logically how doing what you love,
Focusing your attention on what you love will change your life.
Trust that the universe knows how to do that for you.
And your sole responsibility is to focus on the things that you want to attract more of.
So let's say you find 10 to 20 minutes to paint at night.
And when you're doing that,
You're focusing on appreciating how good it feels to express your art form in a unique way that your heart loves.
And in that moment,
You're feeling very inspired.
You're feeling good.
Your energy is uplifted.
You're feeling optimistic towards life instead of pessimistic.
And let's say after you finish that 20-minute session,
Those good feelings stay with you.
And all of a sudden you feel.

Drawn to listen to an inspiring podcast or an audiobook that feels really good to your heart really soul nourishing instead of turning on a netflix show or watching a youtube video that has very low vibrational energy Just doing that 10 to 20 minute painting exercise can create a positive ripple effect in your life.
Where now you have more energy to focus on the things that align with the life you want to live and not the life that you don't want to keep manifesting for yourself.
So I'm hoping you're beginning to see how focusing on what you love can create a snowball effect.
That gives you the energy and the vitality and the motivation to focus on more things that feel good.
Very quickly your life can shift when you begin consciously choosing to focus on things that make you feel good afterwards instead of focusing on things that make you feel not good.
When you spend 20 minutes working on your passion or something that you love.
It can have a profound change on your life.
And in the moment it doesn't feel like that.
In the moment it just feels as if you're deciding whether to spend 20 minutes binge watching social media videos or 20 minutes.
Painting,
Which will feel good,
But somehow you may feel a little resistance to it,
Not realizing that in that moment you're making a life-changing decision.
There is.

.
Time for the The vast majority of people,
I believe.
Of course,
There are extreme situations where you can't find any time to do what you love.
But ask yourself,
For your life,
Can you carve out just a little bit of time to focus on something that you love,
Something that's life-affirming,
Something that makes you feel good in your soul and your body?
And it just makes you feel inspired.
And it can shift your energy and get you out of a funk or an unwanted state because in that short period of time.
You're focusing your energy on a different frequency.
And by focusing on it,
You're attuning yourself to that energy or you're matching that energy's vibration.
And when you do that,
Your outlook towards the world begins to shift.
The energy you feel within your body begins to shift.
Because before you were attuned to what you spend the majority of your life focusing your attention on.
And now that you're focusing on new things,
You're attuning yourself to that new frequency or in other words you're matching the new frequency of what you're focusing your attention on.
I think the biggest block that a lot of people face,
And I've definitely faced so many times,
Is you don't immediately see the positive effects changing what you focus on has.
So in this example of the painting,
When you're spending 10 to 20 minutes painting,
But you know the next day you have to go to a job you hate or you have to do something that's triggering or stressful.
It doesn't really feel like spending those 10 to 20 minutes are that important.
It feels easier to just binge watch social media feed and before you know it,
An hour goes by and you don't even know where that hour went.
But the thing is,
When you.
.
.
Can get out of that funk by consciously making the choice to focus on things that you know deep down are the right things to do for you.
I think we all know,
And if you have the courage to give yourself that permission to be happy,
It can have a ripple effect.
That can change your life in a dramatic way in a relatively short period of time.
The life you're living now is something that's continually mirroring back to you the energy that you're holding within yourself which means that your power lies in changing what's occurring within you And then the mirrored reflection outpictures a different story.
And you can change that at any moment.
And things can happen so quickly for you as you begin to.

.
Create thoughts and energies and vibrations.
That match the life that you want to live in the future,
But instead of waiting for this magical time when somehow things will shift.
You're actually creating the right circumstances and energy within yourself to make that shift now.
And that's the power that your attention has.
This is a book that I published a couple years ago,
And it really revolves around one simple idea,
Which is your superpower is your focused attention.
And whatever you focus on grows.
And I want to bring awareness to how often throughout the day we are choosing to focus on particular things.
And because we're making these choices,
Unconsciously often.
When we bring awareness to it,
We can start to make them consciously.
So let's say You have things that your ego says,
Well,
I need this job.
I need to do this work.
I'm still stressed about this thing.
That's okay.
We're not saying you want to deny at all what you have to do and your responsibilities that you don't feel inspired by.
But let's say on your commute or If you have some time during lunch,
That's free time just for you.
You can turn on something that inspires you.
You can read something that inspires you.
You can focus your attention on music.
That has words that are life-affirming instead of filled with negativity that just lowers your vibration.
You can choose to surround yourself by conversations and information that uplifts and empowers and i believe this has never been more important than it is right now.
I think on a collective scale,
We're starting to realize how important our focused attention is.
And I've heard it said before that attention is the new currency,
And I believe there's a lot of truth behind that.
Because.

.
There is so many things,
There are so many things that are trying to pull our attention in a certain direction.
I don't know about you,
But the pull that I feel to watch videos on my YouTube feed and on my social media account has never been stronger.
And I'm realizing whenever I'm in this unconscious habit of consuming content,
Well,
First of all,
I have to kind of break out of this spell,
But once I break out of it,
I reflect on that time and I realize that that was actually a very important.
.
.
Thing that just impacted what I manifest into my life.
It doesn't feel that way when you're consuming content.
It doesn't feel that way when you're in it.
A great example for you to see this in your own life is the last time you've read a book that really,
Really inspired you.
Personally,
I find that I get more inspired from a really good book than a good video,
Even though a good video or podcast can be inspiring.
But just imagine the last time you read a book where You just felt while you're reading those pages,
Oh my God,
This makes me feel so good.
I'm so grateful to be alive.
I'm feeling so optimistic,
Fired up.
I have that creative spark.
That is the power of focusing your attention on something uplifting.
When you're reading a good book,
But of course this can be anything,
But I'm using the book as an example because this has played a big impact on me.
Is you're then attuning your energy to the vibration that that book has.
So when you're reading,
You're focused on that book with Great clarity.
You're not.

Usually getting too distracted you're not having another conversation while you're also reading when you're reading your focus is directly on the words in that book And the reaction that you feel in your body is a reflection of what happens when you focus your attention on something empowering.
It's so important that you bring awareness to what happens when you choose to place your energy towards certain things,
Towards certain energies.
And when we expand this beyond books,
We return to the original phrase that I mentioned towards the beginning of this video,
Which is everything is energy.
So when you think about it,
A book is one form of energy,
Watching a movie is another form of energy,
Choosing to exercise is another form of energy.
And when you're in particular conversations,
People are energy.
So you know that there are certain people that when you talk to them,
The conversation always tends to go in a certain direction or you always tend to feel a certain way after talking with them,
Whether it's good or bad,
It's just good to become aware.
Because when you have awareness,
To where your power lies.
You don't feel as victimized by these really powerful forces outside of yourself.
And instead you begin to take your power back and realize you are the creator of your life.
And the way that we create is where we choose to place our focused attention.
So a lot of times you may have heard that with money,
If you want to make a positive impact on the world,
Vote with your dollars.
Choose to spend on the things that.
.
.
Or the companies that have high visions and morals and values that you resonate with,
That you align with.
And now if we take that same idea and we say your attention is the new currency.
Then vote with your attention.
Instead of feeding the really low vibrational negative thing Choose to consciously focus your attention on the things that uplift you,
That empower you.
Instead of focusing on how bad certain energies are.
Acknowledge them,
We don't want to bypass them,
We don't want to deny them.
See them for what they are,
But don't feed them any more than is necessary because all that is is just growing that energy.
And instead of growing that energy that you don't want to manifest more of in your life,
Or you don't want to feel more of,
You see it,
Love it,
Compassion for it,
And then you redirect your energy onto things that inspire,
Motivate and uplift you.
And I just feel that this is such a powerful effect.
And of course,
It's sometimes hard to see it in the moment,
But if you consciously make a decision.
To just do your best to focus on things that uplift you,
Even if it's just five or 10 minutes a day.
Focus on listening to something that makes you feel good.
Listen to empowering,
Life-affirming music.
Read a little bit of a book that you love.
Have conversations with people who make you feel inspired and just grateful to be alive.
And don't worry about having to have your life change overnight but just notice how making those little tiny conscious decisions around each of your days can dramatically change how you feel internally.
And when you change how you feel internally,
All of a sudden,
These things that used to feel so distant from you,
So hard to do,
Suddenly feel more approachable,
More easy.
All of a sudden you start to have thoughts about,
Wow,
Maybe.
.
.
I could make a living doing what I love,
Or maybe I could find another job that aligns with me better than this one.
And you start to think about possibilities that used to feel unreachable all of a sudden feeling obvious or the next right step in your life.
And it will feel like magic to your ego.
How did that shift happen?
But the shift comes from changing your energetic state.
It's all energy.
And when you focus on.

.
Feeding yourself good energy,
Which is like eating clean,
Healthy food instead of junk food,
You really will feel the impact in your day-to-day life and your motivation.
And before you know it,
The mirror of the external world will reflect the abundant,
Beautiful garden and harvest that you've cultivated within yourself.
