
Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation - Chakra Balancing
Using water as a symbol of healing, this Yoga Nidra meditation guides you on a visualisation through your body’s energetic centers known as CHAKRAS connected by NADIS and MARMA POINTS. This practice assists in rebalancing and strengthening the immune system while reducing and releasing tensions caused by past impressions that affect our daily lives.
Transcript
Come resting on your back.
Be comfortable and feel your body ease into stillness.
Now is my time to rest,
Heal and revitalize through yoga nidra.
Close your eyes.
Be aware of your eyes and slowly roll your eyes from side to side.
Slowly roll them up and down.
Let your eyes rest in the center again.
Sense your eyes softly sinking into your head.
Notice your mouth now.
Slowly move your tongue around your inner mouth.
And now in and out of your mouth.
Rest your tongue in your mouth.
Become aware of your ears.
Notice your ears listening.
Without effort,
Listen to sounds in the far distance.
Simply listen to the sounds flowing easily in and out of your hearing awareness without determining the source.
Listen now to the sounds close to you,
Flowing freely in and out of your awareness.
Draw closer,
Listening to the sound of your breath.
Feel your breath flow through your body.
Feel your inhalations create openness in your body and your exhalations instill calmness within.
Inhale openness and exhale calmness.
In this openness,
Envision a place that brings you peace.
A real or imaginary place.
Bring it to life using all of your senses.
Fill your surroundings with any details that nurture peaceful energy for you.
Perhaps a nature surrounding your favorite room at home or particular people or objects that comfort you.
See yourself resting calmly in this place.
Feel free to revisit your place of peace whenever you like during your practice today should anything feel too uncomfortable.
In this peace,
Turn inwards to your heart space.
Feel your breath.
Sense your breath opening your heart space wider and wider.
Ask the question,
What does my heart long for most?
And listen.
Let the response arise naturally from within you.
Now,
Express your heart's longing as an intention,
A short positive phrase set in the present tense as if already happening.
An example of this is I am healed healthy and whole.
Silently repeat your intention or the example provided to yourself a few times now.
Echo to yourself in silence.
I am awake and aware.
Now,
Let your awareness journey through your body and sense each body part as you are guided by my voice.
Allow your awareness to flow easily and without judgment.
Become aware of your right hand.
