Moonlit Thoughts|李白・靜夜思
by Wei Dai
Some poems stay with us so quietly that we hardly notice them growing with us. I learned these four lines as a child. Years later, I found myself hearing them differently, perhaps because “home” had become something farther away, and the moon had become something I carried with me. So I made a song inspired by Li Bai’s Moonlit Thoughts. And tonight, I simply wanted to share it with you. May it bring you a little comfort if you're far away from home.
