Welcome to this meditation.
I am Melisa Colangelo and in a few moments I will guide you to the discovery of your inner child.
This short time spent together will help you to tap into and release the blocks that avoid your imagination and your creativity to develop fully.
Make sure that to begin this exercise you have a time when you are not interrupted.
Choose a comfortable place where you can sit or lay down and feel free to meditate with me.
When you are ready close your eyes and take a deep breath from your nose.
Then release your breath slowly through your mouth.
Repeat it again.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
And the last time.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Notice your breath as your body starts to feel relaxed and detaches from the physical world.
You are in a state of natural wellness.
You find yourself standing in a colorful field in the countryside.
You wear no shoes.
Your bare feet are in contact with soft green grass.
It's like a soft carpet that nature offers to you.
That place is curiously familiar to you even if you do not remember when you have visited such a glorious place before.
You feel comfortable.
You feel grateful.
The sun rays give warmth.
They illuminate your skin.
Your eyes close and open.
A gentle breeze blows and slowly makes branches and leaves wave each other like in a mutual greeting.
As your foot touches the ground with a first step you feel a wave of blissful tranquility passing through your entire body.
Then you make a second step feeling calm and relaxed.
You step down a third time sliding deeper into a state of relaxation.
Now you take a fourth step feeling even more relaxed and now you take a fifth and the final step.
You are fully,
Completely safe and completely open to nature.
You explore the place with your sight.
All is full of life around you.
Following the butterflies flying in the air you walk beyond the trees.
The field is even more colorful like a rainbow of flowers.
The red of puppies.
The blue of daffodils mixed with the golden fields of wheat at a distance.
The scent that you feel in the air is the scent of summer.
The season of blossoming.
The season of abundance.
The season of growth and explosion of life.
And you feel life flowing in your veins under your skin.
You feel free as a bird.
Perfect as a tiny precious lady bird that rests on your finger for a moment and then she's gone.
You stare at the daisies caressing your feet.
They are perfect.
They are beautiful.
Tenderness is the language of nature today and all speaks about gratitude and life and possibilities.
As you walk you notice a shape of a person sitting on the grass near a silent pond.
You get nearer.
You see that the person is a child.
The figure does not move and so the water is still.
The surface of the small body of water is decorated with light pink lotus flowers.
As big balls attracting bees and dragonflies they are still.
They convey a soft loving energy able to trespass the reed belt surrounding the pond.
You now are behind the child.
You kneel down and kindly touch the shoulder of the baby to make him aware of your presence.
As the figure turns around with great astonishment you recognize yourself as a child.
This is you.
You are aged four or five years old.
Eyes straight into eyes.
You are conscious that you are looking at your inner child.
Same hair,
Same eyes,
Same clothes as in the old photographs.
The young you smiles and grabs your hand.
Your inner child does not speak.
You are led toward lake shore.
The child points to lotus flowers.
Then a dragonfly leaking the surface of the water poses with energy.
You close your eyes and contemplate that part of you,
The inner child who manifested.
The young child still exists inside you and persists and claims space to grow and expand nowadays in this moment,
In the present.
In a dimension where there is no tomorrow but you leave the now and the here.
You sit down and look at your inner child playing in the grass innocently.
You open your arms and welcome him or her in the warmest embrace.
You feel the innocence.
You feel the eternity.
The baby speaks with a sweet voice.
I am here today coming out from your memories to reconnect your soul to me.
I don't want to be forgotten.
I don't want to be abandoned because I am the center of your imagination.
I am pure creativity.
You keep me alive when you daydream,
When you run in the rain and swim in the sea.
You keep me alive with your joy.
You look at him with love.
You feel his peace.
You are complete because life has brought you the most precious part of your soul.
The creative,
The spontaneous,
The exuberant,
The side of you that always seeks and never gets tired of searching,
Asking,
Feeling hopeful.
In the doubt the inner child finds the answer.
In the closed doors the inner child sees opportunities.
In images and drawings the inner child finds the vital lymph.
It will arise from the ground of lines and patterns and you will feel it going through your feet and legs and feel your chest and finally it will reach your heart.
Your heart is the one that guides your creative way.
The child has a hopeful glance full of love and compassion.
He says,
Anytime you hold a pencil and you will draw your dreams I will be by your side.
Anytime you touch the paper to feel the roughness of the fibers or the softness of a smooth blank page I will be by your side.
Anytime you remind that the world is color I will be by your side.
Bring your yellow for the sun and the lauter.
Bring your purple for the shadows on the mountains at the sunset and for your tears.
Bring your white for the snowflakes and the pureness.
Bring your red for the fire and passion and anger.
Bring your gray for neutrality and to make your eyes rest on it.
Bring your blue for your wings and to capture the sky.
Bring your green for an emerald road for trees and bushes.
Bring your black for denial and bold ideas.
As the inner child stays in your embrace you are full of gratitude.
Your lips are in a smile because you know that your inner child is the driving force of your creativity and he will never leave you again.
You will always be together in an eternal,
Eternal love.
And so it is,
And so it is,
And so it is.
Your inner child is the fire of creation that always burns and never consumes.
And so it is,
And so it is,
And so it is.
Your inner child is an endless flow of abundance and ideas are juicy fruits ready to be picked from their tree to give you the most delicious flavor at the first bite.
Your inner child is the awareness that you are born for great and that not only your mind but your spirit creates and changes the world.
You are pure spirit and so it is,
So it is,
So it is.
You are now ready to draw your story.
Which story do you want to paint or draw today?
What is your next gift to the world?
Immerse in that river of playfulness and pleasure.
Take your pen and draw until your inner child suggests.
