Dawn Chorus

The concert of the new morning. This is a gradually increasing birdsong, set to a score of undulating pads, soft arpeggios, bells, harps, and kotos. It features 10 minutes of continuous soundscape with no loops. Birds recorded at dawn on Sunday, 12th April 2020.

Composed and performed on modular synthesizers.
Mutable Instruments, Rings, Plaits, Clouds, Marbles. Strymon Magneto, Rossum Panharmonium, Qu Bit Chord, Makenoise Mimeophon.
