Grounding is a powerful awareness practice that anchors us in the present moment.
In this meditation,
We focus on establishing your grounding cord,
Which is a flow of energy from the base of your spine down to the center of the earth's core.
This cord creates a release of energy that will enable you to drop resistance,
Reduce stress,
And come into the present moment as fully as possible.
The breath will be our guide throughout this process,
So as you hear my voice speaking these words to you now,
I invite you to gently notice the rhythm of your breathing.
The inhale,
The exhale,
The inhale,
And the exhale.
Give yourself the gift of relaxation,
Breathing through any areas of tension as you slow down just a little more.
Let's create a line of energy that goes from the base of your spine down to the center of the earth's core.
Some people visualize this as a cord,
Some people hear this as an anchor dropping,
And others like to simply just know that it's there.
There is no right answer,
Because energy follows thought.
So as long as we intend to be grounded,
We are already doing it.
So again,
We are creating a grounding cord that anchors us to the center of the earth.
This is a line of energy that starts at the base of your spine and goes down,
All the way down to the earth's core.
And when you feel or know that this process has been completed and you feel linked in at the center of the earth's core,
Let's go ahead and set this grounding cord at release.
This will enable us to begin letting go of anything that does not serve us.
We do not need to know what we are releasing,
And we do not need to use effort to release.
It just happens.
Grounding is a dynamic exchange of energy and information with the earth.
As you continue to breathe into your grounding cord,
You are aligning with the earth's slow and steady heartbeat,
The vibration of Gaia.
This connection supports and sustains your being.
It's a meaningful tuning process,
Linking your energy field with the earth's rhythm.
Keep breathing,
Knowing that your energy field is a dynamic bioelectric system,
And that through grounding,
You are finding your natural alignment and center as you feather off resistance,
Effortlessly discharging that which no longer serves you in the present time.
You're sending it down your grounding cord.
The earth takes it and neutralizes it,
And of course revitalizes you in the process.
We get to trust in this process of grounding to create that neutrality in our lives.
Take a few more breaths here,
And when you feel ready,
Gently bringing your awareness back to the room.
