Gently drop from your head into your body.

Start inhabiting the whole of your body and your senses and welcoming the sounds around as you connect to your breath.

Let the sound of the water wash down all tensions and liquefy your mind,

Entering the soft welcoming space of your body.

Feel the flow of your breath in and your breath out and allow yourself to drop a little heavier at the base of your spine,

Anchoring yourself progressively into more presence.

As you relax into a deeper sense of being here,

This spontaneous natural presence,

You may hear different sounds around within this recording and the sound of the creek in front of us or maybe some birds chipping around,

My voice,

But also whichever sounds that are present with you in your surroundings.

Let them in.

Welcome the quality of presence and aliveness they bring to you moment to moment.

Let the ever-presence of nature inside you welcome you deeper in and simply follow the thread of your breath,

Going deeper and deeper,

Wider and wider,

Spreading throughout the whole of your body.

Maybe encountering hard spots or roughness of the rocks can also be part of the stream of water,

Tiny obstacles redirecting,

Shifting the stream,

But fully present with the flow,

Welcoming all parts of you,

The soft and the rough,

The warm and the cold,

The active and the passive,

The inhale and the exhale.

And as we come to the end of our five-minute natural pause,

Natural break in our days,

I invite you to gently welcome some movement in your body,

Stretch things out,

And if your eyes were closed throughout,

You may open your eyes again and take in the visuals of the space you're in,

Ready to go on with your day.

Have a beautiful rest of your day or night.

What an authentic and grounding meditation! I love the sounds of the water and the birds as the backdrop to your gentle meditation. I will return to this again and again! Thank you Douchka!
