This meditation is best used when you're already in your bed,
Ready to settle in to sleep.
Feeling your body easing into the bed,
Sinking down into the surface beneath you.
Feeling the warmth of the duvet,
Getting nice and cosy.
Taking a moment to think through your day,
Reflecting on anything challenging or difficult that may have happened.
Allowing yourself a moment to remember this,
Any thoughts or feelings around it.
Shifting your thoughts to anything good that may have happened.
Again,
Giving yourself some space to remember this,
Reflect any feelings or thoughts this brings.
Releasing the day and allowing yourself to sink deeper into the bed,
Letting go of any tension you might be holding.
With every exhale,
Sinking a little bit deeper,
Letting go.
And repeat in your mind after me.
