You can close your eyes or allow your gaze to settle,
Feeling your body in the chair or lying on the bed,
Feeling supported by the earth beneath you,
By the chair,
By the bed,
Holding you,
Supporting you,
So that you're able to let go.
Releasing any tension you might be holding,
With every exhale,
Relaxing a little bit more.
And with every inhale,
Feeling the cold air moving in through your nostrils to the back of your throat,
Into your chest and then into your tummy,
Filling your body with clear,
Fresh oxygen,
Replenishing your cells,
Revitalising your body,
Healing.
And now just focusing on the senses,
Any sounds you might hear,
Birds singing,
Traffic outside,
People in another room,
And starting to wriggle your fingers and toes,
