Om Mani Padme Hum

This is the classic Buddhist chant that embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. It is comprised of six syllables and contains the Om sacred seed syllable. Mani means jewel and Padme (pronounced "Pedmay") means lotus flower. Hum represents the spirit of enlightenment. Manipadme is interpreted as the jewel of the lotus flower which represents purity and spiritual fruition or awakening.
