This piece brings a quiet stillness and gentle calmness. It is a sacred music that takes the listener on a deep contemplative journey. Based on the eleventh-century "O Vis Aeternatatis" (O Eternal Life) of the German Saint Hildegard, it was transcribed for soprano saxophone by Ian Close and accompanied on synth by Dominic Beeton. Saint Hildegard was a writer, poet, musician and visionary hailed as a New Age healer due to her views on holistic healing.

Evocative with a hint of oriental flavour, summoning nostalgia or homesickness for a state of being remembered but distant. Yes, Eternity and yet we are still here in eternity! Thank you for sharing the rememberance.
