This poem was created in September 2023 and inspired by The Total Transformation Course which I have been doing this year. It is very much a personal and somewhat vulnerable poem about my journey to self love. I hope you find it inspiring. Note: this poem is now part of my Soul Expression Series. Feel free to listen to the other tracks in this series.

Hello,

It's Deb Flanagan here.

I wanted to share with you a poem called The Path.

This was brought through in September 2023.

It is another Total Transformation course inspired poem.

And here it is,

The Path.

My path has been rocky I have often dived right in often without thinking or planning not seeing the results within were they all just dead ends leading me down a path of sadness and grief or did they lead me to the next big thing to a path of discovering who I truly am some see courage some see faith some see passion some see grace I see confusion and judgment which reigned seeking and not finding plays the ego mind doubt still lurks and likes to have a laugh judgment says you silly girl go get a real job surrender says God show me the way to self-love each and every day who knew this path to self-love would be so hard the path to self-love is the path to God trust and surrender is no joke letting go is an art form on which many have choked are we there yet I would often say and then I remind myself it's a journey not a destiny remind me then to pick up the pen to write some words or do a drawing out of the mind and into the heart tapping into creative flow is my muse is my art thank you God for reminding me creation is ye and creativity is key the key to my soul the key to joy bringing faith trust and curiosity that's the end of the poem.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Bye for now.
