Most people are hijacked by their minds, giving whatever thoughts or emotions they experience the power to run them more or less completely. The thing is that it does not have to be this way. And so, the purpose and intention of this course is to provide you with everything you need to reclaim your sanity, to free yourself from being hijacked by the content that flows through your mind. So that you may move through life in ever-expanding peace, joy, and harmony. Regardless of external conditions or circumstances. This course provides simple, powerful tools and practices that allow you to begin to stay grounded, centered, and anchored in the nowness of this moment. So that you may remain ever more untouched and unmoved by the content in your mind. This is the purpose of and intention with this course. This first lesson outlines and describes what this course is all about. It describes what it means to practice the presence and the intention and purpose of the course.

Finding Sanity In This Insane World
In this lesson, we are beginning to explore what it means to be sane in this insane world and what we will be called to do to find or reclaim the sanity that we wish to experience.
Lektion 3
Witnessing And Observing Our Minds
In this lesson, we are beginning to explore what it means to witness and observe the content that incessantly and relentlessly flows through our minds. This is key to finding or re-claiming our sanity, as it is only when we are able to break free from our attachments to our thoughts and emotions that sanity emerges.

Embracing And Allowing That Which Is To Be As It Is
A common question that arises where witnessing and observing our minds is concerned is: When I do become aware of my thoughts and emotions, then what, what do I do with them? This particular lesson answers this question.

The Nowness Of This Moment
The nowness of this moment has nothing to do with time; past, present, or future. It is beyond time. It is from this eternal moment that we witness and observe the content in our minds. And we are wise to seek to more and more live our lives in and from the nowness of this moment. In this session, we are taking a deep dive into exploring the nowness of this moment.

Willingness And Discipline - The Hallmarks Of Freedom
If we truly want to set ourselves free to be in ever-expanding peace, joy, and harmony, if we truly want to re-claim our sanity, if we truly want to free ourselves from being hijacked by our minds and by the world, then we all need to cultivate willingness and discipline. This session explains what both of these are and why we need them.

About Silent Meditation
Silent meditation is one of the most powerful tools and practices we have, to really build and strengthen our presence and attention muscles. In this session, we are exploring the basics of still and silent meditation.

A 10-Minute Silent Meditation
In this session, we are joining together in a 10-minute silent meditation to assist you in beginning to have a daily meditation practice. So make yourself comfortable, close your eyes and let's move into stillness.

Making Conscious Use Of Our Moments In Between
Each and every single one of our days is filled with what I call "moments in between". These all offer such beautiful opportunities for us to take back our minds, to reclaim our sanity and so we are very wise to begin to use them. In this session, we are exploring what these moments in between are and how we can consciously use them in a way that serves us.

Gratitude is one of the most powerful and fundamental tools that we have in our sanity toolbox. This is so because of its simplicity and powerfulness. In this session, we are taking a deep dive into the power of gratitude.

The breath offers such a powerful tool for us to take back our minds. In this session we are exploring how we can build our lives around coming back to the breath as a way to reclaim our sanity.

The sacred art of listening is a powerful practice that allows us to really build and strengthen the attention and presence muscles needed to take back our hijacked minds and reclaim our sanity. In this session, we are exploring the wonderful gem.

Leaning Into Go-To Affirmations
Having Go-To affirmations is a very powerful tool that we can use as we are re-claiming our sanity. In this session, we are exploring what such go-to affirmations are and why we are wise to put them in our sanity toolbox.

Practicing The Presence - The Exercise
The name of this audio course is borrowed from a powerful exercise I learned a few years ago called Practicing the Precense. In this session, we are exploring this exercise so that you may incorporate it into your own daily practice of reclaiming sanity.

Asking Spiritual Power Questions
In any given moment, asking spiritual power questions, or empowering questions as they are also called, is a very powerful tool we can lean into to take back our minds and reclaim our sanity. In this session, we are exploring some of my favorite questions to ask and why they are so powerful.

Scanning The Body
Scanning the body, sensing it without labeling or naming any particular parts or sensations, is a beautiful and powerful tool to bring us deep into the nowness of this moment, thus freeing us from being hijacked by our minds. In this session, we are exploring what it means to scan the body.

Witnessing And Observing Beyond Labels
Witnessing and observing beyond labels is another beautiful and powerful practice that we are very wise to put in our sanity toolbox. In this session, we are exploring how this practice goes.

Creating A Breathing Space
Having a breathing space, a space dedicated to just being, is one of the most essential practices in my sanity toolbox. What a breathing space is, and how to create it, is what this session is about.

Practice, Practice, Practice
For all these beautiful and powerful tools and practices that we have explored in this course, none of them will do us any good unless we make the choice to practice them. As the title of this session implies, it is all about practice.
Lektion 20
Our Emergency Beam-Out
In all honesty, for all these wonderful and powerful practices we have explored in this course, and those we have not explored, there are moments when nothing really works. Moments when we are so hijacked by the mind that we cannot pull ourselves back into sanity. In those moments, we are very wise to have an emergency beam-out system ready to be activated. What this is, is what this session is about.
Lektion 21
When We Fall...
What we are doing here in this course is that we are learning a new way of being, a new way of moving in the world. Inevitably, as we are moving forward, we will fall short of our own expectations. When we do, we are wise to be very gentle, loving, and kind toward ourselves so that we may get up and begin again. Cultivating a deeper sense of self-love is what this session is about.

What Are We Saying Yes To?
Whenever we are making any kind of choice, we are both saying yes to something, and simultaneously saying no to its polar opposite. Becoming aware of which choices serve us and which don't so that we more and more may begin to make choices that are in alignment with sanity, with ever-expanding peace, joy, and harmony, is what this session is about.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course! So many interesting ideas and techniques to try. I love the warmth and playfulness Daniel brings to the lessons. Typically for me by the end of a 20 plus day course I would be ready to move on to something new, but I’m going to accept Daniel’s invitation to immediately redo the course. Thank you, Daniel!
