Was du lernen wirst
This course is about making meditation simple. In Mind the Gap Part I, we explored the default network of experience and how it differs from direct experiencing. We learned about the two brain centers that integrate mind and body and three elements necessary for true mindfulness and the cultivation of creativity. In Part II, we'll break down major meditation misconceptions and expectations and strip meditation down to its absolute essentials, so you can continue to develop your mindfulness practice and begin to transition from mindfulness to meditation. Each short lesson contains a brief practice and the final session offers a framework for a successful independent practice.

Lektion 1
Exploring The Gap Through The Practice Of Kumbaka
Welcome to the first lesson in Mind the Gap II. Today, we'll review essential elements from Mind the Gap I followed by a brief practice exploring the space between each breath with an effortless 'breath retention' known as kumbaka in Sanksrit.
Lektion 2
The Biggest Challenge
In today's session, we'll take a closer look at our ideas and thoughts about meditation in order to understand how they obstruct our progress. Then we'll liberate ourselves from them in a practice of letting go.
Lektion 3
The Great Undoing
Now that you've brought the light of awareness to all of your beliefs about meditation, it's time to let go of expectations. In this short lesson, you'll discover "pointer" phrases to remind yourself that true meditation lies outside the confines of mental understanding.
Lektion 4
A Framework For Independent Practice
In this fourth and final lesson, you'll be given a modifiable framework to structure your independent meditation practice. Then we'll put some of the elements from Mind the Gap I and II together, into a guided meditation.

I'm so happy I experienced Part 1 and 2 of Minding the Gap. The simple approach is most appreciated. Thank you.
