You might have things that you say you want to do/learn/experience in life but you feel you do not have time? With this course you will get to try several strategies to break old habits, strengthen attention, gain insights and awareness around the underlying emotional needs behind the overuse and support in how to meet that. We look deeper into compassionate understanding of addictions and we also take time in the end to redefine your relationship with your phone. So if you think time and doing what you love is precious to you, that is what will be freed when you become the master over your phone and not the other way around. This course is mainly inspired by the work of Catherine Price (author and science journalist) and Dr. Gabor Maté (specialist on addictions, trauma and attachment wounds).

In this first lesson we look at why you choose to do this course and we do the first move to create more distance from you and your phone. Welcome to the first lesson and great if you take a notebook with you.
Lektion 2
How To Look At Your Addictions With Compassion and Wake Up To Reality Around Your Phone Use
We take the next step to create awareness around the use of your phone. But first we look deeper into understanding addictions, to create a more compassionate understanding towards ourselves when we deal with our addictions. We do a reality check of how much you actually are using your phone and we look at a step to make it easier for you to wake up from the habitual use.

Temptations
The science behind the apps and phone design is made to excite us and uses our hormone system response to keep us tempted to keep using it. Lets see what we can do about that. Lets make some major changes! We also start to get deeper into the emotional aspects of the use of the phone.
Lektion 4
The Reason For The Pain
We look at how you can meet the emotional aspects around your addiction and overuse of your phone. You will also get more strategies in how to create a life that supports breaking the old ways.
Lektion 5
Core Need Meditation - How To Meet And Listen To Emotions
Addictions can take many forms. What is true for them all is that they have the same purpose. To get us away from what we experience as uncomfortable/painful. So when we are taking our own issue around the use of the phone serious we can not hide from that we might have a deeper unconscious drive to use the phone for hiding from something. This meditation gives you practice in a method to get in contact with that deeper emotional need and to listen to it. By doing this over time the addictive behavior can fall away by itself. Get Your Life Back And Build The Muscles Of Attention And Focus
Let us build resilience against the noise and distractions by choosing where we put our attention and focus. We also head into a rites of passage, that might feel challenging, to get your life back.

We take another important step in changing our ways in this world to free ourselves from the unconscious habits of phone use and scrolling to being alive and present in your life.

A New Relationship With Your Phone
The use of the phone is in no way inherently bad. But we have all noticed how powerful and seductive the phone can be to our hormone and nervous system. So after spending this course to get some distance from the old ways of relating and using your phone this lesson is about to see when you want to pick it up and use it.
