Understanding Your Unique Constitution
In this lesson, we'll learn about Ayurveda, the ancient science of health and healing. We'll focus on the quality of each element, Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space, and how a dosha is formed. You'll learn about how the doshas make up your unique constitution using a visit to a Pizza Parlor as an example. You will also learn about the difference between your constitution and your current condition. And think about what it means to be balanced according to Ayurveda.

Find Your Dosha: A Self-Assessment
This lesson provides a quick quiz so you can identify your ayurvedic constitution by answering questions related to your physical characteristics, tendencies, and qualities. The lesson also includes another quiz to determine your current condition and identify which dosha is out of balance. You'll discover basic guidelines for balancing the doshas based on the opposite elements choosing activities, foods, and exercise regimes that promote grounding, relaxation, stimulation, and release, respectively.

In this lesson, you'll learn about the intricacies of the Doshas. Discover how your unique constitution influences your physical, mental, and emotional tendencies. Gain practical insights into Vata, Pitta, and Kapha and understand how they shape your responses to life. In this lesson, we delve into the art of achieving balance and harmony by integrating Ayurvedic principles into your daily life. After understanding the different doshas and their imbalances, you'll learn practical strategies to restore equilibrium. For Vata imbalances, discover how to incorporate elements of water and earth through diet, routine, and calming exercises. For Pitta imbalances, embrace cooling foods, relaxation techniques, and creative expression. Kaphas will benefit from dynamic exercise, light foods, and exploring new experiences. By responding to imbalances with insight and kindness, you'll navigate life's challenges with greater ease.
