In today's consumerist culture, we are constantly told that happiness and fulfillment can be found through material possessions and external goals such as wealth, relationships, fame, and status. However, this pursuit often leads to a never-ending cycle of wanting more, as satisfaction from these external sources is temporary. Vedanta philosophy, which originates from ancient Indian scriptures, teaches us that true happiness and fulfillment come from within. We often seek happiness externally because we believe ourselves to be incomplete or lacking, but Vedanta teaches that we are already complete and whole. The goal of life is to realize this inner completeness. In this course, we will explore the teachings of Vedanta through stories and meditation. These stories have been passed down by Vedantic monks and are based on the philosophical texts of the Vedas. Whether you are new to Vedanta or already familiar with its teachings, there is something for everyone in this course. Join us on this journey toward inner fulfillment.
