This course will introduce participants to practical mindful techniques to incorporate into their workdays. Participants will learn practices to enhance focus and productivity, reduce stress, and overall, be happier at work. There is no meditation experience necessary to take this course, however, if you already have a practice, this will serve to support you in the program further. Practicing mindfulness at work can help us manage work-related stress, be more focused on our tasks, experience better communication and relationships with colleagues and boost our immune system so we take less sick days. Join me for this course if you want to learn how to bring your mindfulness practice to work and experience more happiness.

Lektion 1
Intention Is Everything
We can choose to move through life on autopilot, or we can bring intention to our days. Intention is about making conscious choices in our lives. In this session we'll learn about how to set an intention or a focal point and complete a meditation focused on intention setting. We'll also discover a way to make sure you don't forget about your intention so you can re-visit it during your work day.

Take A Break
In a world that moves faster than ever, sometimes the thought of taking a break feels impossible - especially at work! We're all so busy and no one ever has enough time! In this lesson we'll explore why it's important to slow down in order to speed up. We'll discuss why taking breaks can improve your productivity and why our brains can't operate to our full capacity without them. We'll close the lesson with a meditation for our coffee or tea break.

Build Self Awareness For Success
Did you know that one of the hallmarks of superior performance among leaders is accurate self-assessment - in short self awareness! Mindfulness can help us to understand ourselves better and become more aware of ourselves, our strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and areas of improvement. It can give us more opportunities to connect to our staff and our clients. In today's session we'll practice a self awareness technique that can be done at anytime in your day.

Practice Gratitude To Change Your Attitude
Did you know that what flows through your brain, helps to sculpt it? Meaning, what we focus on, we experience more of! Negativity is common in many workplaces and one of the best ways to shift the brain towards positivity and let go of negative moods in the practice of mindful gratitude. In today's session we'll learn about the practice of gratitude and experience ways of infusing gratitude into our days. We'll discuss and practice a way to bring gratitude to your meetings and one on one interactions.

Enhance Your Focus
Where is your mind right now? Based on scientific studies it's likely wandering and distracted. This is why multitasking is an epidemic and costing us 40% of our productivity. In this lesson we'll focus on focus! We'll practice how to enhance our focus, because what we practice, we get better at! We'll explore a simple technique to do each day to help you build more focus to get more done in less time!

Finding Calm During The Storm
We can't control the world around us, but we can learn to manage our minds! If there is one thing we can be sure of, it's that we will encounter challenge. Mindfulness can give us the tools to be able to meet challenge with grace and ease. We'll learn about how we normally react to negative situations and experience a meditation to meet our challenges with a bit more spaciousness. We'll discover the power of the pause in our day to day life when intense situations present themselves.

Compassion Is Your Secret Superpower!
When we think about what it takes to become successful in business we rarely consider the quality of compassion. Today's session will focus on how this quality of caring for other well-being can actually be a huge benefit to those in business. We'll practice metta phrases in our meditation to begin to feel more generous and kind to the people we work with. We'll experience more happiness through the practice of compassion.

Mindful Movement
Feeling tired, sluggish and dull at work? A bit of mindful movement infused into your day can be a powerful antidote to this lack of energy. Instead of searching for caffeine or sugar, maybe all you need is some gentle movement! Today we'll learn why mindful movement is such medicine for our mind and body. We'll practice an easy flow to boost your energy - think of it like a moving meditation. No yoga mat or special equipment required.

Less Stress At Work
Many of us don't realize the effect that stress has on our lives, but the truth is, we all have some stress and we can learn how to manage it better. We can't always control the things that happen around us, but we can use the tools of mindfulness to learn how to manage our mind when we encounter this situations. In today's less we'll learn about how stress might be manifesting in our lives and we'll learn a practical technique to shift our nervous system from the stress response to the rest and digest response.
Lektion 10
Making Space
Is your day, desk, computer so cluttered that it's affecting your state of mind? One of the aspirations of a mindfulness practice is to experience a more spacious mind. In this lesson we'll explore how our physical space is related to our mental space. We'll look at some techniques for creating space in our work area and a meditation to create space in our mind.
