Lektion 1
Our Shared Story Of Sleep
On Day 1, we talk about what you can expect from this course: Who am I and how am I qualified to talk about sleep? [hint: I’m human and need to sleep, just like you. I also have a unique sleep pattern, and although you may not realize it, so do you.]
We’ll also overview each day’s topic, discuss what might be challenging and how to move through it, and we’ll experiment with our innate ability to work with sleep energy.
Lektion 2
Releasing Resistance To Sleep
On Day 2, we discuss what we mean by resistance to sleep, why it matters, and explore how it might show up for you. We talk about the simple fact that just the word “sleep” carries energy and can be loaded with emotion.
Day 2 creates space for us to recognize how our reactions to thinking and talking about sleep may be keeping us from our best experience of it.
Lektion 3
Releasing Resistance To Sleep: The Exploration
On Day 3, we move a little deeper into the energy of resistance in order to develop our ability to detect it and easily release it. Resistance to sleep is a natural reaction to everyday stress but it doesn’t have to be our habitual response.
Day 3 offers the opportunity to practice noticing and releasing resistance using visualization and movement that anchors the body.
Lektion 4
The Sensuality Of Sleep
Day 4 is a beautiful, soulful experience of discovering the sensuality of sleep. We begin with defining for ourselves the meaning of sensuality. What does sensuality mean to you? Is the experience of sensuality something you shy away from or something you embrace?
Today's session is a delicious sampling of opportunities for self-discovery, and better understanding the unexpectedly sensual path to sleep.
Lektion 5
The Sensuality Of Sleep: The Exploration
Day 5 creates space to deepen our experience of the sensuality of sleep. Did you notice any resistance? Did something surprising and wonderful show up for you? This session is all about bringing a new openness to the pleasure of sleep and if necessary, offers the opportunity to practice dissolving any resistance that may linger.
Lektion 6
Gathering Evidence Of Our Natural Ability
Day 6 reminds us that we already have an intimate experience with sleep and offers the opportunity to revisit memories of nourishing sleep. In this session, we consider past sleep habits in relation to current ones. What’s different? Why?
We also discuss the current trend to ‘clean up your sleep or sleep clean’ and whether or not it impacts your specific relationship with sleep.
Lektion 7
Gathering Evidence: The Exploration
On Day 7, we explore the truth of our natural ability to sleep. We practice accessing soothing, nourishing memories of sleep which can act as distinct guides back to the simplicity of sleep. Once again, we breathe into the possibility of resistance, old judgments about sleep, and our willingness to choose ease over suffering to arrive in peaceful sleep.
Lektion 8
Honoring Our Natural Sleep Rhythm
On Day 8, we consider the idea that everyone has a unique sleep rhythm, that a one-size-fits-all sleep formula may not be accurate. Who are you in your relationship with sleep? How are you in your relationship with sleep?
Regardless of whether or not these questions confuse or interest you, Day 8 will offer a serious opportunity for shifting how you think about your sleep.
Lektion 9
Honoring Our Natural Sleep Rhythm: The Exploration
Fabulous! Day 8 created a major shift in how you think about sleep! Now what? Today, we hone your unique sleep story. We articulate what worked for you in the preceding days and nights of this course.
What did you notice? What does that mean for you and your experience of consistent, restorative sleep?
Lektion 10
Closing The Course As Your Sleep Story Continues
Day 10 is a summary of the course and a final anchoring of your unique sleep story. We’ll explore one last shared experience of working with the energy of sleep. As we close the course, we’ll illuminate a few next steps of support as you continue cultivating a welcoming, peaceful relationship with sleep.
