Lektion 1
New Beginnings
After a long, cold winter, the promise of spring is like a loved one’s embrace. The weather is warmer, yet it is not too hot. New growth surrounds us, flowers begin blooming under the sweet serenade of birds. From a spiritual standpoint, we are now leaving the dark half of the year and preparing for the sun’s height of power at the summer solstice. Once again, nature shows us that all will be reborn.
Lektion 2
Ostara And Beltane
Wiccans observe eight Sabbats (or seasonal celebrations) each year. In spring, there are two such observances: Ostara and Beltane. This lesson gives a brief overview of each, along with some magickal crafting and recipe ideas to brighten this festive time even more
Lektion 3
The Witchy Garden
It’s difficult to imagine spring without gardening coming to mind. Just walking through any type of garden—or fresh produce aisle, for that mater—engages our minds with the sights and smells of spring. This lesson takes a look at having a witchy garden for starting the seedlings of magickal workings.
Lektion 4
Spring Nature Spirits
Working with nature spirits can be rewarding in Wiccan practice, especially as the Great Wheel turns to the light half of the year. This lesson will focus on three that are well-known and are commonly associated with spring: gnomes, faeries, and the Green Man.
Lektion 5
The Vernal Equinox
Equal time of dark and light. With this balance, we find insight. With day and night in complete balance, the spring equinox reminds us to, just as nature, seek harmony and find balance between the extremes we experience.
Lektion 6
A Spring Healing Meditation
This meditation invites you to relax as you stroll through a forest at springtime. Your journey takes you into a circle of welcoming gnomes, who offer you their greetings and positive energy as you look inward during the time of the Vernal Equinox.
