Tension has a way of quietly accumulating in the body. In the jaw. The shoulders. The stomach. The hips. Sometimes we don’t even realise how tightly we’ve been holding ourselves until we finally let go. This practice gently guides you through the body from toe to head, intentionally contracting and releasing different muscle groups to help discharge stored tension, stress, and unconscious holding patterns. With each squeeze and softening, the body begins to unravel. The nervous system settles. The mind becomes quieter. A simple yet deeply effective meditation for releasing physical tension, calming mental overwhelm, and returning to a more grounded, spacious state within yourself. You’ll leave feeling lighter, looser, calmer, and far more connected to your body. A great practice in times of stress or at bedtime before sleep.
