This sleep story is about a young child who is listening to the rain outside one night as he sits on his bed reading his favorite book about castles by torchlight. As he reads the book he drifts off into a reverie about being in a castle in the past. He explores the castle and falls asleep in the castle. The next morning he goes out to explore the land around the castle and heads off across the countryside and farmland, along the riverbank, through the woodland to a building. The boy meets a man in the building and realizes the building is a large library and this man is a guardian of knowledge who can trace his role back to an ancient civilization that had had contact with an ancient alien civilization. After his experience, he drifts out of his reverie and off asleep.
