So just take a moment to allow your eyes to close and allow yourself to begin to relax.
And as you begin to comfortably fall asleep.
I don't know whether you'll drift to sleep.
Faster to the sound of my voice.
Or whether it'll be to the spaces between my words.
And as you.
Comfortably fall asleep.
You can take a moment to allow yourself to get comfortable and imagine a healing light softly,
Slowly and gently.
Passing down from the top of your head.
To the tips of your toes.
Relaxing gently down through you.
As I count from 10 down to 1.
And with each count your mind can quieten and calm.
As the muscles soften and relax.
And you can begin the process of drifting.
Peacefully asleep.
From 10.
That healing light.
Relaxing.
The muscles around the top of the head.
Around the back of your head.
Gently,
Carefully.
Relaxing the muscles around the side of your head,
Around your temple.
Your forehead.
And with each out breath.
That relaxation can deepen.
So peacefully.
So comfortably.
As it flows down around the eyes and around the ears.
Nine.
That relaxation moving down around the jaw.
Relaxing that jaw,
Allowing the tongue to relax.
The lips to relax the nostrils.
To gently relax.
With that relaxation moving carefully.
Slowly.
As that healing light passes.
Down the back of the neck.
Softening and calming those muscles.
Around the sides of the neck.
The front of the neck down from the head.
Gradually moving that calming.
Healing light.
Out across the shoulders,
The shoulder blades.
Relaxing those muscles.
Like a deep massage passing through your mind and body.
8.
As that relaxation.
Begins to move down those arms.
And I don't know which arm the relaxation will move down fastest.
Whether it'll be the right arm or the left arm.
But you can be aware of that healing light.
Spreading gently down those arms.
Around the bicep.
The tricep.
Down into the forearms.
Seven.
Moving all the way down to the wrist.
Palms of the hands.
Down to the fingertips.
Perhaps as that relaxation.
10 years.
Through those arms.
With each out breath.
The arms begin to feel heavier.
Lighter or some other sensation as relaxation sets in.
And you know the process for sleep.
That the body begins to relax and while the body becomes physically relaxed,
So the mind begins to drift and dream.
Initially to brief reveries before settling on the first dream of the night.
6.
And that healing light.
Can spread down from the shoulders and down around the chest.
The upper back.
Softening and relaxing those muscles.
So gently,
So calmly.
Relaxing the breathing,
Helping you drift deeper and deeper into the experience.
Five,
The healing light.
Moving down towards the stomach,
The lower back,
Sides.
Relaxing those muscles as it goes.
Bringing a deep sense of peace and calm.
To your upper body.
Releasing any tension.
Perhaps occasionally finding yourself shifting just a little too.
Get more comfortable.
4.
With that relaxation spreading down around your buttocks,
Down into the upper parts of your legs.
Free.
Passing that relaxation down.
Towards the lower part of your legs,
Perhaps those legs feeling heavier and heavier.
As the body becomes deeply relaxed and your focus drifts inside.
And what's going on for you and your mind.
You begin to lose awareness of the body as it becomes incredibly still.
Too.
The relaxation spreading down to your feet.
Calming.
Softly relaxing all the way down to the tips of your toes.
And one as a final wave of relaxation pulses gently through you.
The top of your head.
Down through your body.
All the way down to the tips of your toes as your mind begins to drift and dream.
And wander into the night's sleep story.
And you're relaxing in a meadow on the edge of the most beautiful woodland.
The trees behind you rustling delicately in a breeze.
The grass so soft underfoot.
And to the touch of the palm of your hand.
Its cool fronds tickling the underside of your hands.
As you reach down and touch that grass.
And you're sat here in this meadow,
The edge of this woodland.
As the sun is gradually creeping towards the horizon.
And the shadows are elongating across the meadow.
And while you walk.
That sun gradually.
Rolling along the horizon.
You start to notice.
The first evening star.
Appearing in the night sky.
While relaxing and watching the scene.
You hear a gentle hum.
And you see some lights flicking in the sky.
Almost flickering and flashing in a circular fashion.
And you watch.
As a dark shadow.
Lows down.
Into the distant landscape.
And then you see.
Gentle beam of soft light.
Emanating.
From the location where that object went down.
And the humming quietens and vanishes.
And with curiosity.
You decide to go and explore.
So you stand up and begin walking through the meadow.
You're trying to keep.
On as straight a route as possible.
So you look up at the night sky.
You identify a couple of different stars.
And work out roughly where you need to be heading in relation to those stars.
And in relation to the north star.
And as the sky continues to get darker and darker.
Further over the horizon the sun moves.
You hear the crickets singing.
Their evening chorus.
The occasional hoot of an owl.
You walk through the meadow.
And this meadow is nestled.
Within a broad woodland.
And the woodland has varying patches of density of trees,
Some areas are so sparse of trees you get these meadow patches.
Some areas.
Have trees but plenty of space to walk between them and you can see the sky.
And other areas the trees are very dense.
And harder to push through.
And you begin to walk among the trees.
Trying your best to keep a straight line.
Every time you can see the night sky.
You look for the stars you're tracking your route from.
Just to make sure that you're on track for where you're aiming for.
And it feels like you're walking for many hours.
Before you discover a clearing.
And you can see.
That there's an object.
Within the clearing.
The moon is yet to rise over the horizon.
So currently.
You can just tell that there's a large shadow.
And you wouldn't even be able to see that if it wasn't for the fact that it's on the grass in the meadow.
And so clearly from your perspective you can see it's darker.
The nigra.
And there's just the ambient light level.
And you begin to walk closer and closer and you stop at the edge of the meadow.
Trying your best to see what that object is.
You already suspect it's a craft of some kind.
Based on its shape and size.
The hum that you could hear in the light.
But currently there seems to be no activity.
And you watch,
And you watch.
And gradually the moon begins to rise over the horizon.
Giving a delicate,
Silver hue.
To the landscape.
And whatever the object is.
Seems non-reflective.
Which just makes it stand out even more so.
Against the slightly illuminated meadow.
In woodland.
And the moon rises higher and higher.
Then all of a sudden you hear that hum return.
You see the lights come on and begin to move.
You can see the way the lights are dancing around in circles.
On the grass within the meadow.
And then gradually.
.
.
The craft begins to lift up.
From the ground.
You watch as it climbs up into the sky.
And almost as if it suddenly disappeared.
Without any sounds of movement.
And just the faintest hint in your mind.
That you saw it.
Moving in a direction.
Faster than it would take you to click your fingers.
It vanishes and the humming disappears.
And the very tip of the hum.
Was a slightly higher pit.
And then there's silence.
And out of curiosity.
You had.
Down through the meadow.
To the location that craft was.
And you can see areas of flattened grass.
But you also see that within this space There seems to be many mushrooms.
And those mushrooms.
Glowing and gently pulsing.
And you carefully pick some of those mushrooms and place them in a bag.
To take with you curious what kind of mushrooms they are,
They're not something you recognize.
And with the ship gone.
Apart from the ring of mushrooms under where the craft had landed.
Meadow just looks.
Like any other meadow.
You head in among the trees.
You set up camp just among the trees.
And settle down and drift peacefully and comfortably asleep.
And you drift into the most pleasant dreams.
Relaxing deeply.
Sleeping comfortably.
Recuperating so well.
Of awaking to the early morning light.
Dancing across your tent.
Opening the entrance to your tent and smelling that fresh morning air.
And you will.
Just out of the tree line.
You can see the dew.
Glistening on the fronds of grass.
And you can better see the compacted grass.
Where that craft during the night had landed.
You can see those mushrooms.
And you decide to head to a friend's house that you know.
Who has some scientific equipment.
He lives in a nearby cabin.
Nestled gently within the words.
And so you head in the direction of that cabin through meadows and woodlands.
Until eventually you arrive at your friend's cabin.
You knock on the door and your friend answers.
And they welcome you in and they ask if you'd like a cup of tea.
And you take a seat by the fireplace.
And they come and join you.
And you show them the mushroom.
They take that mushroom and have a good look at it,
Holding it up to the light.
Turning it around.
Looking at it from different angles.
They go over to wall of books.
Search for a specific book and take that book.
And thud the book down onto a table.
And begin searching through the book.
And they can't find the mushroom anywhere within the book.
They tell you.
That they like to examine the mushroom further.
So they take a small slice of the mushroom.
So fine that it's almost see through.
And they look at that under a microscope.
Looking at the cell structure,
They notice there's something unusual.
About the sound.
Is like some of the cells.
Have a fuzziness to them.
Almost like there's an energy.
Moving around.
From cell to cell.
Something not seen in typical mushrooms.
And they do some other tests.
They establish.
A chemical analysis.
This mushroom.
At least in small doses.
Would technically be edible.
But there are traits that lead them to believe.
That consuming the mushroom could alter your perception.
But having never seen a mushroom like this before.
That unsure what that altered perception would be like.
And you volunteer to find out.
And so they take a very small slither of mushroom.
Then make up a T.
With that bit of mushroom.
And you drink the tea and feel that.
.
.
It has a very sweet taste.
And there's occasional bubbles rising within the tea.
And it's almost like you can feel those bubbles.
Moving up into your mind through your sinuses.
As you drink.
And then you begin to feel deeply relaxed.
So you sit back and close your eyes.
And the scientist sits with you,
Observes and makes sure that everything's okay.
As this is the first time.
Anyone's tried this mushroom?
And that relaxation passes through your mind and body.
And you feel like you're relaxing deeper.
Deeper onto an alternate plane of consciousness.
You start to see the lights of that craft whirring gently around in your mind.
You start to feel.
Like you've experienced many moments.
All at once.
As if your mind is filled.
With memories.
From earlier on through your experience with the craft and the mushrooms.
You have this sense of the craft.
Travelling through space.
You begin to lose awareness of your body.
As it sits there relaxing deeper and deeper while your mind wanders.
And drift into the experience.
And at times you feel like your mind is on that craft.
At other times you feel like your mind is following that craft through space.
And then you feel yourself becoming absorbed in space.
Absorbed in the idea of nothingness.
An idea.
Of absolute stillness in mind.
We discover there's no up nor down,
No left nor right nor back nor forth.
No sound.
And all light begins to fade.
And you're in a moment of nothingness.
Absorbed just in the moment.
Of your own experience.
And not even experiencing anything.
Which is moving.
So thoughts which evolve over time.
Still.
Feelings.
Which evolve over time.
Still.
Experience which evolves over time.
Is still.
You're just here.
In a state of nothingness.
Not thinking about the past or the future or what's going on elsewhere in the present.
Just experiencing nothingness.
Experiencing the moment.
And it's almost like you're passing through this state of nothingness.
Like it's a transitionary space.
Between one reality and another.
And you start to come out into a slightly brighter reality.
One where you're hyper-aware.
Of different details of what's going on.
You're in the meadow,
Very much like the meadow where the ship was.
Except you know this meadow to be different.
And you can see the way clouds move across the sun.
The intricate details of those clouds.
Your different interpretations for their shapes.
And the patterns they form.
And as you look around yourself.
You wonder where you are and what you're supposed to learn.
You know that you're in your own mind.
That this experience is driven by the mushroom.
And you see a cute little mouse.
Gently moving through the grass.
You begin to follow that now.
As it walks from the centre of the meadow.
And heads to a small hall.
And you walk over to that hole and as you lean down and look in,
So you find yourself drawn into the hole continue following this mouse underground.
And it meanders among different passageways.
Before coming out into a large underground chamber.
And then heading a short distance.
And this chamber opens out into something much more grand.
You see an entire underground world.
There are ships which looked like they could probably resemble the ship you saw.
Flying in the sky of this underground world.
As plants and animals.
It all looks very earth-like,
Yet there's something slightly different about it.
None of it.
Is familiar,
The leaves on the trees and the plants.
Don't look like leaves you're familiar with.
The plants themselves.
Don't look familiar.
And you see what looks like a town.
So you begin to head towards that town.
And you crouch down and watch from afar.
Watching the town folks.
Go about their business.
And the town folk are all about two and a half to four and a half foot tall.
And they look like how grey aliens are depicted.
Interacting,
They seem to be friendly.
And you watch.
How they live their lives.
And then you begin to hear a hum.
And up in the sky.
Which would be the underside.
Of the earth above.
You see a ring beginning to form and that ring of light forms and begins to lower down and the light increases in intensity.
And then out of the heart of the ring.
Some objects.
Fall slowly,
Carefully towards the ground.
And you head over to investigate.
And as you get nearer,
You stop again to watch.
You see those aliens?
Gathering up the items which are just passed down to them.
You watch where they take the items.
You wonder whether to head into that town.
To look around.
But you're aware that would make yourself known.
But as you're wondering.
One of the aliens spots you.
And heads over to you.
And you back away a bit unsure about this situation.
But they seem incredibly kind and friendly.
They reach out with their hands.
The long fingers softly touching your forehead,
Your cheek.
Your chin.
They close their large eyes.
Take a deep breath and then you get a flash of imagery in your mind.
And suddenly everything makes sense.
This is a colony of these aliens that lives here on Earth.
And the other radiance.
Come down and deliver supplies to here.
And something about their process.
Seems to infuse the land on the surface with those mushrooms.
And you're curious about those mushrooms,
Why they just seem to be there,
Nowhere else.
Perhaps the mushrooms don't exist that long.
You don't quite know what they are,
But they definitely seem to give you the ability.
To have projected yourself to being here.
In a physical enough form.
That those here are interacting with you.
And after a short while the alien that's touching your face begins to communicate words to you that you can understand.
It's as if them touching you and psychically communicating with you,
They're also learning from you.
Learning your language.
Understanding you better.
And they invite you to come to the town.
And so you follow them into the town.
They take you.
What you would describe as a tavern.
And you sit in that tavern.
They get you some food and you notice.
This food consists of those mushrooms.
They tell you that the mushrooms are how they communicate.
At the mushrooms.
Give them telepathic abilities.
And the telepathic abilities.
Have no concept of distance.
And so they can communicate.
When they need supplies,
How many supplies,
What supplies?
That can receive the communication.
Of when the supplies will be delivered and where.
They can communicate.
With friends and loved ones on other planets.
And they can do more than communicate,
They can create whole worlds.
That they and their friends and loved ones can inhabit and interact in.
That seem as real as real life.
They can psychically transport themselves to different places.
And their friends and loved ones can then do the same.
But they're all here right now.
And sometimes some of the spores.
Of the mushrooms.
Get loose in the process of delivering new cargo.
As that cargo is projected.
Through the ground.
And when that happens.
Those spores rapidly grow into mushrooms.
But they can't grow and survive.
In the soil above ground.
So once they use up.
The random bits of nutrients.
Which are dotted around them.
Also left behind by the ship.
They just wither back down and no one knows they're even there.
And your ability to interact with them.
Is that you've had some of that mushroom.
Allowing you to be here to learn about this world.
And they say a bit about why they're here in this community.
And say that there are a few other communities dotted around the Earth.
And ships have to come down and land.
And beam cargo to those places.
Before leaving again.
And as the experience comes to an end.
So you notice the world around you beginning to fade.
But from the alien's perspective,
It's you who's beginning to fade.
And the alien says that the amount of mushroom you've had is wearing off now.
So you'll be back.
To your regular reality back into your body.
You can take your learning back with you.
And everything around you fades.
You find yourself.
Back in that chair,
Your scientist friend watching over you.
You have a conversation about the experience,
They ask how long it felt to you and they say how long actually transpired to them.
And they're fascinated with what you say and they take notes.
And together you come up with a name for the mushroom.
And they decide to freeze what is left of the mushroom.
Try and preserve it.
Perhaps.
Some of the mushroom could be turned into a tea in the future.
To have another similar experience.
And you leave that with the scientist.
Before heading off.
Heading back out into the woodland,
Through the woods.
And you find your way all the way home.
You head to your own home.
If you have something to eat and drink,
Can you sit and ponder the experience you've had?
You write down for yourself what the experience was.
Your interpretations of the experience.
And after doing this.
You feel so deeply tired.
Ready for bed.
So you head to bed,
You settle down in bed.
And you easily and effortlessly drift and float,
Peacefully asleep.
Into slumberland.
