Welcome,
This meditation is about building confidence and feeling comfortable being your authentic self.
At this time I invite you to get comfortable,
Either seated with your hands resting in your lap or lying down with your hands out at your sides.
Close your eyes or gently gaze in front of you.
Begin to settle in,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
It might take you a moment to find a nice gentle rhythm.
As you do this,
You start to notice that your exhale grows just a little bit longer as you relax.
If your mind begins to wander,
Gently guide yourself back to your breath,
Noticing the inhale and the exhale,
And notice how that breath feels in your body as it moves.
Remind yourself that there is nowhere you need to be and nothing you need to do in this moment.
You are exactly where you are meant to be.
Notice,
As you are breathing in and breathing out,
That you begin to feel a shift in your body and now you have this superpower where you are breathing in and breathing out from your heart.
Your heart is the center of all intuition and all of your inner knowing.
As you breathe in and as you breathe out from your heart,
You might notice a color appearing around your heart space.
This space is the seat of your confidence.
It is quiet,
Rounded and fully present.
And notice with each inhale that light grows a little brighter and with each exhale it starts to spread gently through your body.
Inhale,
Allow that light to glow and grow brighter,
Exhale allow it to spread through your body.
Notice the qualities of this light.
Perhaps it feels soft and breezy or warm and gentle.
As you are breathing in and as you are breathing out,
Begin to allow a memory to take shape.
This could be a recent memory or one from the distant past.
It is a time where you felt completely confident,
Free from self-doubt or fear of judgment.
If no memory surfaces,
That's ok.
Instead visualize yourself standing in a space where you want to feel confident,
At work,
At home or in a social encounter.
Notice how you stand a little taller.
Lift your chin slightly and lift your heart toward the sky.
Roll your shoulders back and gently down away from your ears.
Feel the steadiness in your body.
With each inhale,
The light grows a little brighter.
With each exhale,
It spreads through your body.
As you continue breathing,
You notice something interesting happening.
You find that you have so much light spreading through your body,
That you have enough to share and send out like a beacon to others.
So as you inhale,
Notice the light get brighter.
As you exhale,
It flows through your body and then out through the heart space,
Getting the attention of people around you,
And feeling completely confident in being seen for who you truly are.
Remind yourself,
The stories I have been telling myself,
Those stories that told me I wasn't enough in some way,
Those stories aren't true.
Here's what is true.
I know who I am.
I know my worth.
I am allowed to take up space.
I am strong and I am exactly who I am meant to be.
Remind yourself of this one more time.
I know who I am.
I know my worth.
I am allowed to take up space.
I am strong and I am exactly who I am meant to be.
Allow your mind to relax at this time,
Simply breathing in and breathing out.
Now in your own time,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
You might rock your head from side to side,
Coming back into the room,
Fully confident and ready to go about the rest of your day.
