For a more grounding effect for this sound bath,
You can listen to this outside,
Laying down or sitting in nature,
Connecting to the earth.
If you are going to do this lying down,
To get as comfortable as possible,
You can use a mat,
A pillow for below your head,
A bolster to prop up your knees or an eye mask or anything you need to find that extra comfort.
Listening in headphones is recommended,
But if you do not have any,
That is okay too.
There is no way to do this practice from.
All you have to do is just listen to the sounds and let them wash over you and if you find your mind getting lost or wandering,
Simply just come back to the sounds.
Once you are ready,
Please find your position,
Whether it be lying down or sitting.
Make one last adjustment,
Taking a big stretch to find that extra 5 to 10% comfort before coming to complete stillness.
If you need to move during the practice,
That is okay too.
Please just do so mindfully and try to remain still.
Now,
Begin to notice sounds outside of the headphones.
Just noticing them,
Not trying to analyse them.
Starting with the sounds furthest away and moving one by one to sounds closer to you.
Now bring your awareness to the sounds that you can hear inside the headphones.
And again,
If you find your mind wandering or getting lost,
Just simply come back to the sounds inside the headphones.
Begin to take notice of your breath,
But don't change anything,
Just notice the natural breath.
The rising and falling of the belly with every in and out breath.
Begin to deepen the breath,
Taking deep breaths in through the nose and letting it out very slowly through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
In and out.
With every inhale you are drawing up warmth and healing from the earth.
And with every exhale you are letting go of everything that does not serve you anymore.
Letting it back down to the earth centre to be cleansed and renewed.
Start to notice how your body is feeling against the ground.
Noticing one by one each body part that is physically connected to the earth.
Noticing any feelings or sensations at each part.
What do you notice about the points that are connected to the ground?
What energy do you feel shifting from your body to the earth?
From the earth to your body?
Imagine roots starting to grow from your feet,
Reaching deep into the earth's core.
And with every breath the roots grow bigger and bigger.
Leaving you feeling calmer and stronger with every breath and more firmly rooted into the earth.
Knowing that the earth is always there for you,
Supporting you and now it is holding you and giving you all the strength and healing that you need right now.
Imagine roots starting to grow from the earth centre to the earth's core.
I think it's time to get back to the place where we were.

Once you come back from this deep space,
Return to the natural breath and stay with your breath.
Inhalation,
Exhalation.
See if you notice any sounds in and around you and perceive them one by one.
Now begin to bring your awareness back into the body without moving anything.
Just notice the parts of your body that are touching and connecting with the earth.
And when you're ready,
Start with some small movements of the body.
Maybe wiggle your fingers or your feet.
And you can slowly at your own pace turn that into some bigger movements,
Maybe some stretches.
Keeping your eyes closed,
Take a few more deep breaths before completely bringing yourself back.
Feeling grateful to the earth for its support and healing.
