ASMR is an Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, sometimes Auto Sensory Meridian Response. Many ASMR sessions include other random noises such as paper rustling, tea-drinking, and whispers. This session is whispered as sometimes whispering can be an effective method of communication after a long, loud day. Yoga Nidra is a practice of bringing awareness to the body that also helps relax the body and bring presence to the body. You may want headphones to listen with, but they are not required.

Hello,

Welcome to Yoga Nitra ASMR style.

ASMR is an autonomic sensory response along the meridian system.

You may experience tingles during this session.

Prepare to sleep.

Put yourself in a place that you can stay comfortable and warm.

Be sure to lie down and be comfortable.

This is your time to relax,

To put the world away,

To hear what you hear and to breathe and to sleep.

You are practicing Yoga Nitra and you will be sleeping soon.

If you have Asankhapa,

Say it to yourself now three times.

Asankhapa is a good way to give yourself good thoughts throughout this session.

It is a determination,

An intention formed by our heart and mind.

If you have Asankhapa,

You can say it now three times to yourself.

We will now begin the rotation of consciousness.

I will name the parts of the body and you will repeat that name to yourself while you bring awareness to become that part of your body.

Bring your attention to the right hand and mentally repeat after me.

Right hand thumb.

Second finger.

Third finger.

Fourth finger.

Fifth finger.

Palm of the hand.

Back of the hand.

Wrist.

Lower arm.

Elbow.

Upper arm.

Shoulder.

Arm pits.

The right waist.

The right hip.

The right thigh.

The kneecap.

The calf.

The ankle.

The heel.

So of the right foot.

Top of the right foot.

The big toe of the right foot.

Second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

Fifth toe.

Become aware of the left hand.

Your left hand thumb.

Second finger.

Third finger.

Fifth finger.

Back of the hand.

The nose.

The tip of the nose.

Upper lip.
